When I came to I couldn't remember who this was that was looking down at me. I couldn't really hear or focus on anything. My head was killing me and there was definitely a lot of blood and a gigantic bulge on the top of my head. Something had hit me hard. I must have been in shock but this dark haired beauty kept calling out to me shaking me to keep me awake.

"Vi, can you hear me?"
"Stay awake! Vi stay with me!"

I felt my eyes roll back and next thing I knew I was in the infirmary. I looked around the room and saw that same dark indigo hair. This beatuful girl watching over me, her eyes were worried. I couldn't remember how I got into this room or who she was. I couldn't even remember my own name. Who was I?

"Vi? Thank God! I thought I lost you." Her eyes were red and teary but she tried to put on a smile.

"Yeah I still feel pretty sick. What happened?"

"Jinx happened she ambushed us..."

"Who's Jinx?"

"That's not funny Violet."

"Is that my name?.. I'm sorry I really don't remember much."

"You're - you're serious?" She grew more worried.

"Yeah. Hell of a thing." I tried to raise my arm to my face but couldn't muster the strength. "Oww."

"Do... Do you remember who I am?"

"Can't say I do, no. Should I know you?"

"Oh umm...Yeah...  Why don't you try to rest. Maybe you'll feel better when you wake up. I'll stay here with you ok?" She bit her lower lip worried and patted my hand.

"Hmm k," I easily closed my eyes. She seems nice at least, I thought.

A few days went by. I was awake a lot more and I still didn't really know what was going on or who Jinx was. This sheriff lady with the dark hair kept coming by to visit me. Actually I don't think she ever really left the hospital.

I started feeling well enough about a week later the doctor said I could go home. What home? I thought.

The sheriff came to get me, I guess her name is Caitlyn. She started to gather my things and helped ease me into a wheelchair to leave. Why was she doing this? She's like really nice. Why did she care so much?

"Hey thanks for the help and all, but you can probably just let me go home, I'll be alright eventually I bet."

She took a deep slow breath. "Vi, your home is my home... do you really not remember anything?"

I was kind of shocked. "Uh, really?!... Um. N-no I really don't remember much. Well I keep having some weird dreams of when I was a kid I think and a lot of people dying. Pretty fucked up huh?" I kind of joked (must have been a nightmare I had thought) but she slowed to a stop.

"Yeah it really was... Vi? hmm..." She came around and bent down in front of me looking me in the eyes.  "I don't know how long you'll be like this. The doctors aren't sure either. Just please know that I love you and I'm here for you, whatever you need ok? Truly." She smiled and ran her hand over my cheek.

I blushed a little, "Oh... alright. Yeah, thanks. I'm ok really. I don't hurt as much now... I guess maybe I'll just keep having better dreams. Right? I mean especially if you're in them." I winked a little which brought a small smile to her face. Who was she to me? What was I to her? And she loved me?! I had this sinking feeling that we meant a lot more to each other but I didn't understand it.
