Jinx and Cait Frenemies

"Hi!!" The door slammed behind her.

"Oh Bloody Hell you scared the shit out of me!" Caitlyn jumped as she had just finished putting on mascara. That was a very familiar voice that had startled the bejesus out of her. "Jinx?! What the hell are you doing here?" She asked still a little shaken.

...Jinx had a change of heart after launching her rocket. Vi and Caitlyn had hid her keeping Jinx safe from the law until things simmered down. She was actually kind of funny and not as dark as she used to be. And Vi and Jinx were actually friends again. They'd tease each other relentlessly. So Caitlyn wasn't all that bothered by her just showing up...

"Oh Caitlyn Kirraman you're so funny. I came to see you silly." Jinx said very overly happy and spinning around.

"Uh, you could have knocked... Also are you drunk?"

"Ha, nooo never touch the stuff. I do love those zingy margaritas down there though. Aren't those so good?! I had a few by the pool." She motioned to outside the window where a lot of their friends had gathered for the party.

"Um, yeah that's a lot of alcohol..."

"Oh it is? Well then yesss I'm-ma ma a little drunk." Jinx flung herself into a nearby chair resting her hands on her face. Smiling at Caitlyn as she swayed the wheeled chair back and forth.

"What can I do for you Jinx?" Caitlyn said with a skeptical smirk.

"Well, Caitlyn Kirraman, I thought since my sister clearly loves you so much, I ought to get to know my future sister-in-law."

"I - uh...?" Caitlyn was flustered and also confused. Had Vi said something to her? She blushed a little.

"So Caitlyn Kirraman what is it about you?"

"Do you keep saying my full name just to annoy me?" she squinted a little at this peculiar sight in front of her.

"Yussss.... Is it working?!"

"God you are incorrigible."

"I'm a what?" Jinx looked confused then a little angry/annoyed.

"Nothing, that's so nice of you to stop by. Maybe when Vi comes back we can - "

"Oh no I want to talk to you one-on-one. Ya know we got off on the wrong foot."

"Well, trying to kill my mother may have had something to do with that. I'm glad it didn't work out the way you wanted it to though. I think it would have broken Vi and we wouldn't be standing here right now." Caitlyn said matter of factly.

"Yeah, see I don't buy how you could possibly love her back. Like aren't you supposed to hate her or something? And how did she fall for you anyway? Weren't you just some enforcer holding her against her will?"

"I was not. And I could never hate her. And yes actually I do love her."

"But what was it? With... ya know the first time we met? She didn't know the whole story right?"

"Um, no I didn't tell her about the hextech and I didn't know you were her sister... but I came clean shortly after that. I wasn't trying to lie to any of you."

"Huh so that hug on the bridge when she almost kissed you, that was just what a thank you for telling me? Bullshit!"

"Ya know Jinx there's a lot to that story but I'm not sure..." Caitlyn shook her head.

"Ooooh I love long stories. Tell me tell me Caitlyn Kirraman!" She got excited like a 10 year old school girl.

"You've got to be... ugh, you're not taking no for answer are you?"
