4: Affection at workplace

"I can't believe I'm losing my job because of that arrogant monster!" Nabi exclaimed after packing her things from the locker. "But you misunderstood him, Nabi! He isn't that type of a person. He explained himself after that!" Joy tried to convince her friend. "How good of a day it was and now look!" Nabi said sliding her bag across her shoulder.

"What are you going to do now?" Joy inquired Nabi. She smiled at Joy and held her shoulders looking into her eyes deeply. "Since I already am free right now, why not pay a visit to Jackson's firm? He'll be so happy!" Nabi shut her eyes in excitement. Joy scrunched her face and pushed her away. "Just leave! Go!" She exclaimed causing Nabi to pout at her and leave her workplace which isn't her workplace anymore.

She got in her car and before starting the engine while she thought of calling her aunt. She took out her phone and dialed her number. "Hello, Aunt Sol! Hope you're having a great day!" She cheered over the phone. "Well I sure am, my girl! How about you?" Her aunt exclaimed from the other side.

"I'm great too! Aunt would you mind paying a visit to me here. You've never visited me after I shifted to the city for so many years." Nabi pouted while talking. "Well, that's because whenever we proposed to come you would force us not to come!" Aunt Sol pointed out.

Nabi mentally cursed herself for letting that out because for so many years she had been hiding from her aunt that Jackson is living with her and she has dropped out of the University so she prevented their visit at any cost.

"Well now I'm inviting you myself so please if you can pay a visit next week?" Nabi muttered. "Will do for sure! By the way, are you fine? My instincts were saying something bad is about to happen or will happen soon!" Aunt Sol showed her concern. Nabi chuckled and disapproved of her thoughts, not mentioning the loss of her job to her beloved aunt.

AFTER A WHILE

Bae Suzy took the phone in her hands when she heard a notification pop up on her screen. She unlocked her phone and read the message.

>>Felix:

He's standing in the parking lot. I saw your horoscope. The exact timing is 6 minutes from now. You need to make him burn in jealousy. If you don't grab the moment now. He won't ever be yours.

She immediately got up from the seat and stormed out of the cabin. She looked around until her eyes landed on Jackson who was working on the computer screen. She immediately rushed to him, gripped his hand, and dragged him out of the room, down to the parking lot.

She dragged a very confused Jackson to the destination and looked around the area. She smirked when she found Jimin talking to one of the colleagues in the parking space. She pretended to flirt with Jackson whose eyes widen and looked her in shock.

Suzy tried to remove the invisible dirt on Jackson's shirt and noticed that the colleague noticed their presence and informed Jimin about it. Jimin turned back to face them, frowned at them but then turned back to his colleague again.

"I thought that Miss. Suzy always had a crush on you. But why is she getting so close with that coworker? This is worrisome!" The colleague mumbled to Jimin.

Jimin squinted his eyes and shook his head. "Well, it surely is worrisome. Not the fact that she had a crush on me but the fact that she is displaying affection at workplace."

The colleague scoffed and looked back at Jimin. "Well, Mr. Park, you said you encountered a girl at the restaurant and got her fired."

"Well, the owner firing her was a bit extreme but I let him know that I promised to get her another job." Jimin retorted and turned back to look at the couple.

Suzy was smirking when she saw Jimin turning back at them when she cupped Jackson's cheeks and pecked his lips for a moment before backing off.

Jackson's jaws dropped and his eyes bulged out of his sockets but he immediately cupped Suzy's cheeks bringing her face closer and kissing her deeply. Suzy's eyes widen at his actions and Jimin and his colleague gasping at the scene.

Suzy pushed Jackson off her and awkwardly smiled at him while Jackson was sheepishly grinning at her. Jimin and his colleague were approaching them when Suzy stopped them.

"Jimin, are you going for your meeting?" She chirped. "Well, certainly I am," Jimin replied and walk past them. Jackson intertwined Suzy's hand with his and strode off.

But all of them were unaware of a pair of bloodshot eyes staring at them with cheeks soaked in fresh tears. Nabi was gripping her steering wheel with so much strength that it could overpower any form of energy in the universe.

She felt betrayed. Heartbroken. She sacrificed so much for him. And he ended up cheating on her. Anger was taking over her. If it was possible in reality others could see the steam coming off her ears and nose.

She clenched her jaws and started the engine. I will run them over. They don't deserve to live. I'll kill them.

She started the engine and harshly pressed the accelerator. She was about to turn to leave the parking space when a car crashed onto hers from the side.

Jimin got off his car and panicked to reach the car that he hit. He went to the driver's seat and opened the door. People in the parking lot already started crowding around the scene.

Jimin saw a head covered with hairs falling over her face over the steering wheel. He carefully tried to reach for her and held her shoulder with one hand.

With the other hand, he removed the strands of hair over the lady's face. And when he cleared the hair blocking her face. His eyes widen. The same girl from the restaurant earlier. He thought.

He shook her shoulders because he couldn't see any traces of blood. But no response. Only her head dipped over Jimin's shoulder who gently held her head and caressed her hair. He looked around before yelling.

"Somebody call in for an ambulance, please!"
