34: I love you

Jimin's eyes widen and his lips parted in surprise. Nabi flashed a wide smile at him and nodded her head. "I love you. I am not pretending. I mean it. I love you, Park Jimin." She confessed.

Jimin looked at her in disbelief. "I love you too." He responded and leaned down intending to kiss her but a knock on the door stopped the romantic interaction. Both of them pulled apart from each other and Jimin quickly went to take a seat on his recliner.

"Come in!" He commanded, back to the cold CEO aura he has. Winter and Felix came running to him. "I will go to the sales department," Nabi said and walked out of his cabin.

"What is it?" Jimin asked them. "Boss, this rumor is circulating on social media and now the media is adding fuel to the noise by adding pictures with it," Felix said handing him the phone.

Jimin took the phone in his hands and he was surprised. "I am dating Bae Suzy?" He asked them.

"There are pictures of Miss Suzy and you at a party, talking to each other. Also, a picture of you kissing her. Although the face of the man cannot be seen, it's dark so they can't see the man well, the man is wearing the same suit as yours from the party so the media has written in the article that you kissed her." Winter said.

Jimin slammed his hands on the table and stood up. "How can they assume this without confirming it?" Jimin screamed. "Sir, Miss Suzy confirmed it," Winter said.

"What?" Jimin instantly shot his head at her. "Yes, boss. The media went to Suzy and she confirmed that it was you that night, who kissed her." Felix said.

"Leave," Jimin said and both of them left his cabin. He sat in front of his computer and turned it on. He looked over the entire article on different media sites for an hour and fisted his hands after reading it. He grabbed his phone and dialed Suzy.

"Hello-"
"Why the fuck did you lie to the media?" He growled over the phone.

"Well, because I hate you, Jimin. Why should I waste a chance like this? It will destroy your relationship with Nabi." She replied and Jimin's heart clenched and his eyes widen in realization.

"No, she won't. She trusts me. It won't destroy our relationship, I'm sure." Jimin said, partly trying to comfort himself.

"Oh trust me. She is a naive fool. I know that bitch. She will break down immediately knowing that I'm the one who stole her husband and then her lover." She replied.

"Shut up! Shut the fuck up! Why the hell do you hate her so much? What has she ever done to you?" Jimin screamed over the phone.

"I don't hate her, Jimin. I just love you. I couldn't find a way to get you so I tried to destroy what you have. I didn't have the plan to do that but looks like luck is on my side. The opportunity came walking to me and I grabbed it. The perfect opportunity to destroy your lovely relationship." She said while laughing like a maniac. 

Jimin shut his eyes and tried controlling his tears. Suddenly Yeonjun stormed into his cabin. "Jimin, Nabi ran away from the office. She left your cabin and Tzuyu showed her the news.

I tried to stop her but she yanked my grip and ran away. I tried reaching for her phone for the past 20 minutes but she is not picking up my calls." He said in concern. Jimin's eyes widen in fear.

"Oh, looks like someone is at my door," Suzy said over the phone. "Oh, how lovely. So good to see you here, Nabi." Jimin could hear Suzy's voice and he started breathing heavily.

"Suzy, you dare not hurt her or make her misunderstand... Hello? Hello?" Jimin growled but Suzy already hung up. He threw his phone across the room and Yeonjun jumped in his place. Jimin massaged his temples and tears flowed down his face. 

"It is my fault. I should have caught her and not let her run away." Yeonjun said shaking his head.

"She will leave me. Suzy is surely going to manipulate her in any case. Nabi is weak-hearted. I don't know what will happen, Yeonjun." Jimin said throwing his head back on the seat.

"Hey, why are you thinking that way? Nabi will surely come back to listen to your explanation. I know her well." Yeonjun tried to reassure him but Jimin was too frightened to think of anything.

He mumbled, "I am scared. She will disappear from my life."

SAME TIME SOMEWHERE ELSE

"Why are you doing this?" Nabi yelled at Suzy. "Listen, babe. I know that you cannot accept the fact that Jimin is cheating on you but you should be strong enough to accept it." Suzy smirked at her.

"That man in the picture. That is not Jimin. That is Jackson. He was wearing the same suit that night. I was the one who bought it for him. Also, I can figure out it was him from the back." Nabi pointed out.

Suzy froze on her spot. "Why would I lie? It is Jimin. Why would I kiss Jackson?" Suzy stated nervously. "Because he was your boyfriend," Nabi said glaring at her.

"He wasn't my boyfriend. And believe it or not, the man in the picture is Jimin. He was kissing me. He loves me but you suddenly appeared out of nowhere and he was distracted. Now we are back together." Suzy said hiding the anxiety within her. "Let's see," Nabi said before walking away from her house.

AFTER A FEW HOURS

"I guess it worked? It is midnight and you called for me urgently." Jackson said standing in front of Nabi. He smirked at her since she called him out of his apartment at midnight.

"Jackson, just admit that it was you. I know well that the guy in the picture, whom Suzy was kissing, was you." Nabi said with a poker face.

Jackson sighed and looked at her. "What does that guy have that I don't? I can give you everything that jerk can give you. You even like me, Nabi." Jackson said.

"I used to like you, Jackson. I don't anymore." Nabi said looking away from him. "Does he still like you even after knowing your past with me?" Nabi frowned at him.

"What?" She asked him and he scoffed. "Incredible. Is that why you chose him instead of me? I saw his face that day. He looked like he would burst into tears anytime when I said to him that you were married to me." Jackson said and Nabi scoffed at him.

"He knew about us since the beginning. Stop bluffing in front of me, Jackson. I trust his love more than you." She said to him. He snorted and said.

"Oh, you don't want to disappoint him? You didn't want him to know how pathetic and clingy you are when you love someone? But, indeed, you are just a sensitive little girl who just roams around crying for love and fate."
