Jimin smirked at her words and leaned his head in front of Nabi's face. Her eyes bulged and she placed the egg on the bowl before gripping the rim of the table tightly.

"Am I your special friend, Nabi-ah?" Jimin asked her in a seductive voice with hooded eyes and a teasing smile. Nabi blinked several times studying the proximity between their faces.

She observed his round face, chubby cheeks, honest eyes, pointed nose, crooked teeth in the front with lips are a bit rounder. His face is perfect and ideal with sharp features making him look like a cute boy but at the same time a dominating man.

She looked away from him and took a deep breath. She realized that she was checking him out. She shook off the thoughts and continued peeling her egg.

"But there is only one bowl." Jimin looked at her when she handed him the egg white.

She nodded and spoke. "One bowl is enough to solve the problem. Washing dishes is surely difficult. I just used one bowl so that you don't feel burdened." She said before slurping the noodles.

"Burden me? How? I won't do the dishes!" Jimin announced. "I cooked. So you'll do the dishes. No more arguments." Nabi said while continuing to eat.

Jimin sulked and leaned down towards the bowl. He started having the noodles feeling her face so close to his. He intentionally pushed his cheeks to touch hers.

Nabi was competitive, so she thought he was fighting for noodles. She shoved his face too. Both of them started doing a noodle eating competition with their cheeks connected.

They finished eating the noodles and slouched back on the chair. Nabi started laughing while Jimin did the same.

"We are a bunch of fools," Nabi said while shaking her head.
"But at least we are beauty fool," Jimin said.

Nabi cringed at his lame joke while Jimin pursed his face. Nabi started laughing again when she saw his reaction.

He placed his head on her shoulder and Nabi's eyes widen. "W-What are you doing?" She asked him while blushing.

Jimin buried the crown of his head deeper into her shoulder coming in contact with her neck. His hair ticking her sensitive neck.

"I have never been stubborn about anything. So I don't know how to do it but . . . I am scared that you will disappear." He said while looking up at her face.

Her eyes softened. She was feeling different around him. Was this a strong friendship? She could not define the feelings yet because they weren't strong still she could feel the spark igniting in her heart.

"I won't." She smiled at him. Jimin closed his eyes and rested his head on her shoulder again. The room was silent and it was peaceful until...

"AHH! What was that for for?" Jimin barked while clutching his face which was stinging because of the hard smack that Nabi gave.

"Dishes! Go!" She giggled at him. He glared at her, stood up from the chair, collected the two bowls, and marched towards the kitchen sink.

After washing the dishes, he returned to the living room only to find Nabi reading some papers on the couch. He smiled, went to his laptop, and saved his documents. He walked toward Nabi, laid himself on the sofa, and placed his head on her lap. Nabi frowned her brows at Jimin while he grinned sheepishly.

"I just wanted to take a rest." He stated while shrugging his shoulders.
"There is a huge bed in your room, I suppose?" Nabi said while gritting her teeth.

"My pillow isn't that comfortable. As a friend, you should treat me well, Nabi-ah," Jimin said with his eyes closed and arms crossed in front of his chest.

Nabi tried controlling her anger and spoke with a forced smile, "Yes, sure! A good friend that I am." Jimin smirked while enjoying the comfort under his head.

NEXT MORNING

Jimin fluttered his eyes open only to find Nabi's body cuddled up against his on the couch. His leg over hers, her arms wrapped around his waist, her face buried on his chest, his arm embracing her tightly.

He smiled while feeling her warmth and placed his chin over her head. Oh, how he wishes to wake up like this every morning.

He took in her citrus smell and smiled warmly. She squirmed in his embrace and he could feel her waking up. Suddenly Nabi's eyes shot open and she pushed him off the couch.

Jimin fell to the ground with a loud thud. "What the fuck, Yu Nabi?" He yelled while holding his aching butt. She sat up on the couch and looked at him with wide eyes.

"I am sorry." She said before getting up and running away from the living room towards the extra room.

"Sorry for pushing me or sorry for hugging me?" Jimin yelled but Nabi already shut the door of the room.

"Sorry for lying to you," Nabi mumbled while resting her back on the door and calming her racing heart.

AT THE OFFICE

"So, Mr. Park, how are you planning to promote these books overseas?" Mr. Yuta asked in front of the other investors.

"Well, we have contacted Builder's Book Inc in San Francisco and Furet du Nord in Paris has agreed to display our books at their outlets. They are the biggest book dealers in their country and sell books all over their country. So this way we can reach global customers." Jimin explained them.

Mr. Yuta chuckled and shook his head. "Well, it is good that you could bring in some international dealers into this but how will you convince the customers to buy these particular books?" He asked and Jimin tilted his head before speaking.

"Uhm... Well, sir. We have decided to have an attractive and bright cover. We can use social media to promote the books-"
"And the summary at the back of the cover is interesting but we have decided to omit it." Nabi said.

" WHAT?" The other members gasped but Jimin and Mr. Yuta were silent. "Well, could you explain why would you eliminate the summary? It is an essential part of the book." The member from the publishing department pointed out.

"We won't completely remove it. We will replace it with a two-liner. The summary spoils the mood of reading. Whenever I buy a book and read its summary, I already can figure out what will happen next. I think we should add one of the two most interesting dialogues as the blurb. Humans are curious beings. Not telling them whose dialogues those are we can easily make them curious and they will buy the book to find out more."

Mr. Yuta chuckled again. "Miss. Nabi, you impress me every time we meet. You are a true definition of beauty with brains." He said and winked at Jimin who smiled back at him.

"It was just an idea," Nabi mumbled and resumed writing the notes as the meeting review.

"Well, then it was a brilliant idea. We are glad to be a part of the writing team of this publishing house which has extraordinary marketing skills." One of the authors pointed out.

"So, Mr. Park, let us sign the deal." Mr. Yuta said and Nabi placed a file in front of them each and they signed it simultaneously. Mr. Yuta stood up and shook hands with Jimin and spoke.

"Mr. Park, you have hired extremely good employees. I am glad to be a part of this project."
