36: I am happy

"Why didn't you call for me? I said you to call my name whenever you are struggling. Then why did you do this alone? Why would you fight them for someone like me? I never really cared what others think about me. You don't need to say something to me. I'm not important here." He yelled at her.

Nabi glared at him. "What do you mean? Your story is what matters the most to me." She screamed at him. Jimin's eyes widen in surprise.

"Do you want people to hate you? Do you think that the world is nice? Then don't ever ask something like this again. I won't do it." She snarled. "Do you think you'll be fine since you are rich? I'll do what I think is necessary for your betterment.

I did all that for you because I felt a sense of duty. If you want to be the villain then so be it. I just wanted you to be seen as the nice villain." She said and scrunched her face in anger.

Jimin smiled at her words and then chuckled at her. She frowned at him and stood up and tried to walk past him.

Jimin held her wrist and turned her to pull her close to his form. She winced in pain but he softly smiled at her. He bent forward to connect their foreheads. "I made a wise decision to wait for you." He said breathing out and she calmed down under his touch.

"I always believed love is someone's weakness but I just realized that you are my strength. I don't think I ever wanted a certain type of person to be there for me. I just wish you are there with me, Nabi." He said and pulled his head back to place a gentle kiss on her forehead.

She looked at him lovingly. "I was able to fight for myself because of you Jimin. I could face my past regrets because of you.

Thank you for repairing me. Thank you for making me love myself. Thank you for loving me and making me realize my worth. I am happy, Jimin. I am really happy when I am with you." She confessed.

He gently placed a chaste kiss on her neck and she shivered at the feeling of his warm lips on the bruises.

"I love you, Nabi. Okay, too much romance. Now let's get you treated." He said holding her hand gently and pulling her with him.

"I love you more, Jimin." She replied while following him.

NEXT MORNING

"I can't believe this! Why am I helping you clean your room?" Joy whined while placing Nabi's clothes in the closet.

"Hey, this arrogant boss emotionally blackmailed us by using our best friend," Yeonjun complained while dusting the mirror pieces from the floor.

Nabi was sitting on the couch trying to peek into the bedroom and Jimin was cooking breakfast in the kitchen. Nabi felt bad watching them work so she got up from the couch.

"Let me help you." She said almost walking over them until Jimin screeched from the kitchen. "Stay where you are! You are injured. Don't make me yell at you early in the morning, baby."

Nabi whined and sat back on the couch. "Don't worry, Nabi. We are almost done." Joy screamed from the room. "Yes, I am mopping the floor now," Yeonjun said.

After a while, both of them landed on the couch. "Thank you so much, guys," Nabi said hugging Joy.

"Hey, I helped too. Where's my hug?" Yeonjun complained, glaring at Nabi. She smiled and was about to hug him when she was stopped by a loud voice.

"Breakfast is ready!" Jimin screamed from the kitchen and Nabi immediately dashed toward the dining table.

Yeonjun looked at her with open arms and an open mouth. Jimin glared at him and smiled once Nabi sat on the chair. Talking about the duality of Jimin.

"I swear to God, this man is so possessive over his lady that I'll parcel her to Hawaii just to destroy his life." He said and Joy chuckled at him.

"Everyone ain't sweet like me, honey." She said and walked up to the table. "I'll woo Jimin away by my cuteness." He said following her. All of them sat at the table and started eating.

"Thank you for helping us, guys," Nabi said while eating. Joy and Yeonjun looked at Jimin expecting him to say something. Nabi cleared her throat but Jimin paid no attention.

"Jimin?" She whispered to him and he looked at her, raising an eyebrow. She sighed and shook her head. "He said thank you. Let's continue our breakfast." She said and the other two laughed. 

Yeonjun took out his phone and started reading the news while eating. Suddenly his eyes widen. He glared at Nabi and slammed his phone on the table. The two girls hissed at his actions.

"Nabi, don't tell me that you met Jackson last night and he is the one responsible for the bruises and wounds you have!" Yeonjun barked at her.

Nabi's eyes widen and so did Joy's. Jimin stopped eating and gripped his chopsticks tightly. He looked up at him darkly.

"What do you mean?" He asked him, tilting his head. Nabi gulped and looked at Jimin in fear.

"Jackson stated to the media that he was the one in the picture and it was a coincidence that both of you wore the same suit that night. He admitted that he was the one who kissed Suzy and that she is lying about the guy being you just to gain attention.

He even gave the evidence to them which were the pictures of them kissing from another angle. So the media is questioning Suzy right now and your name is erased from the rumor. But why would he suddenly do that unless someone convinced him?" Yeonjun asked the last question looking at Nabi.

Jimin calmly placed his chopsticks on the table and turned his head to look at Nabi. "Why did you go to him without informing me? Do you know how aggressive he is with you? You knew that the man in the picture was him and went to him to convince him to admit it, right?" Jimin asked and she nodded her head.

"And that scoundrel wanted you back and hit you, right?" Yeonjun screamed and she nodded her head. Jimin got up from the chair and Nabi's eyes bulged. She held his hand and stopped him from moving away.

"He wanted me back but I talked things with him and confirmed with him that I don't like him anymore. I also said him that I don't want to see his face ever again. Don't be mad, I am never seeing him again." She said while tearing up.

"And he hit you because of that? Because you rejected him?" Joy calmly asked her. Nabi shook her head.

"He hit me because I chose Jimin over him but then when I explained that I regret meeting him and don't like him anymore, he stopped hitting me." She admitted.

"How dare he hit a woman in the first place?" Yeonjun barked. Nabi looked at Jimin. "Don't get yourself involved with him anymore. Let's stop bringing my past back. Please, Jimin." She begged.

Jimin calmed down and sat on the chair again. He cupped her cheeks gently. He sincerely smiled at her and pulled her into a hug. He stroked her hair and gave an evil smirk to Joy and Yeonjun before saying.

"Okay, baby. I won't get involved in this anymore. I promise."
