Jimin placed the contract on his desk. Nabi carefully took a hold of the contract and started flipping through the pages.
"So Nabi, you'll be given an internship period of 3 months as my secretary. If I'm satisfied with your work then you'll be given a permanent position. If I feel that you don't fit this position even before the period of 3 months I won't hesitate to fire you." Jimin said and Nabi raised her eyebrows.
"What do you want, Mr. Park?" Nabi squinted her eyes and gazed at Jimin suspiciously. Jimin cleared his throat and looked away.
"Just call me, Jimin. And before you take up this job, I need a favor from you." He said lowly.
"And what is that?" Nabi pressed."You will... You will have to pretend to be my girlfriend for tonight." He said and Nabi's eyes widen. She stood up from her chair and glared at Jimin.
"W-what? If you want to change to prove yourself, you need to do this." Jimin said with a shrug.
"And why do you think I will do this?" Nabi questioned.
"Because you desperately need the job and it's alright to pretend to be my girlfriend since you're single. Aren't you?" Jimin pointed out. Nabi gulped.I wrote that I'm single in my resume. This might be my only chance to redeem Jackson I can't let it go. And it'll be just for one night. I'll just pretend to be his girlfriend. Nabi thought.
Nabi was contemplating whether to take the offer or to decline it so Jimin added. "I'll not force you to pay back for the car damage as well. If you help me." Nabi's eyes lit up. She placed the contract on the desk and nodded at Jimin.
Jimin stood up from his recliner with an equal glint of happiness in his eyes.
He looked at Nabi before asking. "Do you agree to pretend to be my girlfriend?"
Nabi nodded her head in agreement. "Yes, I do!" Jimin sighed in relief and sat back.
"Besides, nobody knows that you're pretending to be my girlfriend tonight. Not even the employees. It'll stay between us and we will never bring it up in the future as well." Jimin stated.
"I wouldn't like to mention it to others either, Jimin!" Nabi scoffed. Jimin glared at her and Nabi glared back.
"Okay enough! So here is the plan! You remember that lady from the restaurant, right?" Jimin questioned and Nabi got serious as well. "Yes, I do!"
Jimin nodded his head and said. "So this is what you have to do."
LATER IN THE EVENING
Jimin was waiting while sitting on the couch within the stylist's boutique. He was dressed in a purple suit. A purple shirt and matching purple trousers.
The shirt was left undone on the top making it look like a deep v-neck shirt. His freshly dyed black hair parted in the middle, some falling on his eyes. The earrings on both of his ears and the black leather shoes. His look was perfect.
The stylist who was Jimin's friend came out and approached Jimin. "This friend of yours surely is stubborn. She doesn't like wearing anything else other than hoodie and jeans, doesn't like applying makeup and playing with her hair." Stylist James informed Jimin.
"That's called being comfy. Maybe she likes to stay normal rather than keeping it too classy. It's her choice." Jimin shrugged.
"All of my workers practically forced her to do these. She'll be out any minute. Oh, there she is!" James said and Jimin followed his gaze.
His breath hitched when his eyes landed on the view in front of him.
Nabi was standing there wearing a purple dress. It was sleeveless on one side and the other side the velvety material of the cloth draped over her entire arm.
