30: Not anymore

Nabi's eyes widen at Yeonjun's words and she pulled out to look at him in horror. Jimin unwrapped his arms from her figure and walked over to them.

He gently shoved Yeonjun away and Jackson limply tried to stand on his feet. Jimin was looking at him darkly.

Jackson fisted Jimin's shirt and tilted his head. Nabi tried to walk over to him but Yeonjun stopped her by placing a hand in front of her and shaking his head.

"Yeonjun take Nabi back to my house," Jimin commanded. Yeonjun nodded and tugged Nabi towards the building.

Nabi started speaking but was interrupted by Jimin.
"But Jimin..."
"No, baby. Just go. I'll be there in no time."

Jimin turned to look at her and felt Jackson's grip on his shirt tighten. He smirked but gave her an assuring nod. She looked at him with tears brimming in her eyes but then let Yeonjun drag her towards the building's parking lot.

"What are you looking at?" Jackson barked at the strangers and they started walking away from there. Jimin turned to look back at Jackson.

Jimin smirked at him, enjoying Jackson being all furious. Jackson left Jimin's shirt and glared at him.

"Do you think you're something just because Nabi is nice to you? Do you know that she is my wife who has a crush on me?" Jackson barked at him while pushing his hand harshly on his chest.

Jimin scoffed at him. "Is your wife?" He laughed at him bitterly. "She was your wife. But not anymore. She is my girlfriend now. You were the one who pushed her away. Why the fuck are you pestering her now? Don't you have Suzy already as your girlfriend?" Jimin snorted at him.

Jackson's eyes widen. "Suzy and I weren't dating. It wasn't anything serious." He said and glared back at Jimin before continuing, "And your girlfriend? It is impossible, she likes me. She is obsessed with me. I will take her back with me." Jackson said smirking at him.

Jimin grabbed Jackson by his collar and glared at him. "Listen now, I don't care, what you say or do to me. But don't ever hurt Nabi in any way, no matter where you are. I can't stand to see her get hurt, be concerned about you, or have a tough time because of you." Jimin said and Jackson pushed his hands away from him.

"Why do you care? You are just a rebound she is using to get over me. What can you do? " Jackson said with an evil look plastered on his face. Jimin smirked at him. 

"I am pretty sure about the fact that she isn't using me as a rebound. I was the one who practically begged her into this relationship and I am not ashamed to admit that openly.

Above all, I trust her and love her more than anyone else in this world, even more than myself. So I am pretty sure about her feelings for me." Jimin said with a proud smirk on his face.

"Stop talking nonsense and just stay out of my and Nabi's life," Jackson said pointing his finger at Jimin. "Do you perhaps like Nabi?" Jimin questioned him tilting his head.

"What?" Jackson frowned at him. "Do you like Yu Nabi?" Jimin strictly asked him.

Jackson snorted at him and said. "Who are you to ask me that?"

"Because I do. I am deeply in love with Nabi." Jimin responded to him swiftly.

MEANWHILE SOMEWHERE ELSE

Nabi was too scared to speak. She looked over at Yeonjun gritting his teeth and gripping the steering wheel tightly. She thought anything she speaks will tip him over the edge and it was the last thing she would want but still, she needed answers.

Yeonjun parked in front of Jimin's penthouse. He unlocked the door and walked in without Nabi.

Nabi quickly followed him into the house. He grabbed a bottle and started drinking water when Nabi suddenly broke the silence. "Yeonjun, let's talk please." She pleaded and Yeonjun silently nodded his head.

She spoke, "Thank you for saving me back there. But trust me I don't like him anymore. He was the one who forced me to talk..."

"Nabi, I know everything. You don't need to explain. Jimin has already explained to me." Yeonjun remarked, his hard exterior cracking a bit. "Jimin did? What did he say to you?" Nabi asked in surprise.

"Look, I am sorry for ignoring you throughout the ride back home. I was just so angry when I saw him touching you like that. My protective side snapped and I blurted out the truth. Jimin asked me to keep it to myself. But I cannot control my temper. I swear I want to kill that bastard but I know that neither Jimin nor you would like that." Yeonjun explained.

Nabi frowned at him. "Wait. Wait. Tell me from the beginning." She demanded.

Yeonjun bobbed his head before saying. "I think that you should know it as well."

flashback

"Girls hit your hallelujah" "whoo" "Girls hit your hallelujah" "whoo" "Girls hit your hallelujah" "whoo" The two drunk ladies were swinging their heads at each other.

"I swear I thought men are the worst when drunk but looking at them. I think these two are worse." Yeonjun whispered to Jimin.

Jimin was softly admiring Nabi and was giggling softly at her actions. "But she is so cute," Jimin said lovingly placing his face on his palms and resting his elbows on the table.

"One shot to your divorce, Nabi! I am glad that you are finally free from that bastard." Joy said raising her glass for a toast.

Yeonjun's eyes widened. "Divorce? What divorce?" He asked. 

Nabi raised a toast. "He left in peace, left me in pieces. I hope he doesn't try and change his mind because I won't be changing too. Jimin said me to love myself and that I deserve happiness. I promised him to do that." Nabi slurred and rested her head on the table.

"I never liked that Jackson guy from the beginning. I like Jimin. He's good for you. I always shipped him with you from the beginning." Joy said while closing her eyes and placing her head on the table beside Nabi.

"What are they talking about?" Yeonjun asked Jimin, who sighed and ate a dumpling.

He turned to look at Yeonjun deeply. "Whatever I am about to tell you make sure to never let anyone know about it. Not even Joy or Nabi." Jimin said in a stern tone and Yeonjun nodded.

"I had met Nabi before she became my secretary. Remember that scandal I got into where a woman accused me of being a molester?" He asked and Yeonjun nodded.

"Nabi was the waitress there. She kind of insulted me in front of the owner over there and he fired her in front of me." Jimin said and Yeonjun was listening to him carefully.

"I pitied her so I asked the owner to give me her details so that I can offer her a job at my office. He then told me that he felt bad as well to fire her since she had suffered so much.

Joy had asked the owner to give Nabi the job by telling her story that Nabi used to go to university over here apart from her family and she fell in love with an international student, Jackson Wang, at first sight. He was from China and came here to study in Seoul.

When he was about to be deported from the country, he came across Nabi. She sacrificed day by day to find happiness with him and accepted to get married to Jackson on paper so that he would be able to stay in South Korea.

While Jackson continued his education, Nabi dropped out of university and started to work to bear all the financial burden of the relationship. While making all the sacrifices, she kept all these things secret from her family." Jimin said. Yeonjun's eyes widen and he said.

"Bro, she did so much for him? She is a literal angel. How can someone divorce someone like her?"
