Jimin blinked his eyes and adjusted to the sunlight in his room. He whined and turned around and extended his hand searching for Nabi's figure next to him but didn't find her presence.
He slowly sat up on the bed and groaned when he felt his head spinning. He massaged his temples to relax his nerves.
He tried to recall what happened last night but failed miserably. He got off his bed went towards the bathroom and did his morning routine.
After that, he went outside to the living room to find Nabi sitting on the couch while watching TV, Uncle sitting on the dining table holding his head in his hands, and Aunt preparing something.
He smiled at Nabi and went to sit beside her. She turned her head at him and greeted him with a smile.
Sehun approached them getting out of his room and growled before sitting beside Nabi and throwing his head back on the sofa.
"I shouldn't have drank last night." He barked and Nabi simply shrugged her shoulders. Sehun turned around to look at Jimin who was watching the TV as well.
"Hey, Jimin. Will you go to the convenience store with me? I need to buy a hangover cure." He said and Jimin instantly nodded and Nabi's eyes widen.
She stood up and screamed. "I will go with you both as well. I can't trust Jimin's safety in your hands." She said and Jimin blushed at her words.
Sehun scoffed and stood up going towards the door. "We are leaving in two hours better be back quickly from wherever you are going," Aunt said when she noticed the three going towards the door.
AT THE STORE
"Jimin-ie, can I get some fruit soju?" Nabi said cutely while holding the alcohol bottle in her hand.
Jimin glared at her, took the bottle from her hands, and put it back on the shelf.
"Why are you boys are so mean to me?" She said pouting and moving away from the shelves. Jimin chuckled and took a box of strawberry milk from the shelf.
"Sweet, just like her. Let's go with this." Jimin said with a sincere smile and put a box of strawberry milk in the cart.
"Here, I found the hangover cure. Anything else, bro?" Sehun said putting the three small bottles in the cart.
Jimin shook his head and smiled at him. "Where is Nabi?" Sehun asked and Jimin looked over at the place where Nabi had just gone.
"I saw her going over there, Hyung. She might have gone to the ramen corner. She is obsessed with noodles." Jimin said and Sehun nodded his head while chuckling.
"You know she was the popular girl in our school. All the boys used to swoon over her but Joy and I, being the Protective duo, scared them all away. That made her think that she wasn't attractive enough to be approached. We realized that we made a huge mistake since she was losing confidence in herself."
"She started thinking of herself as a burden and did everything to support us financially and mentally. But during that time she forgot to support herself. So I convinced my parents to allow her to live in the city all alone to make her realize her worth."
"Joy accompanied her here but then we lost contact. I might fight with her all the time but I care about her as well. I can see how much you love her. As an older brother, I request you to make her realize her worth. Prioritize her over everything and treat her well."
"I swear that she is precious. Once you win her, you won't let her go. She is a keeper and I can guarantee that, Jimin." Sehun said softly and Jimin's eyes crinkled with a wide grin.
Jimin smiled warmly at him before saying. "I promise you, Hyung that I will never hurt her and do my best to make her feel special. She is delicate and deserves happiness in her life. I will protect her from everything and cherish her till my last breath."
Sehun smiled and opened his arms and pulled him in for a man hug. "Let's go and find that baby." He said and Jimin chuckled while pushing the cart.
Meanwhile, Nabi was looking for some different ramen flavors to buy when an unknown guy suddenly came behind her.
"Looking for some ramen, beauty?" The guy whispered in her ears. Nabi turned around and frowned at him.
"Why else would I be in this corner then? To buy rice cakes?" She barked and turned to look back at the shelf.
"Feisty. I like that. Want to go and grab some ramen, beauty?" He said placing his palm on the shelf to trap her in there and Nabi froze in her place.
Suddenly he was pulled away from her figure. Sehun slammed his body on the shelf opposite her and then gripped his collar.
"How dare you say that to my sister? How the hell can you behave improperly with her? Or with any woman?" He said and pulled his collars.
The guy was about to punch Sehun when Jimin kicked his knee from the side.
"Don't you fucking dare try to do that. I'll kill you here itself. How the fuck can you flirt with my girlfriend?" Jimin said while strangling him on the ground and punching him mercilessly.
Nabi was looking at them in horror. "Jimin, leave him. He learnt his lesson." Sehun said pulling him away from the guy and making him stand.
Sehun then pushed the cart and walked to the check-out counter while glaring at the guy. "Yes, Jimin. Let's go!" Nabi said holding his arm and pulling away.
Jimin huffed and tried to calm down but glared at the guy as well before walking away.
AFTER A WHILE
"Bye, Aunt! Bye, Uncle! Bye, Hyung! Take care and do visit again!" Jimin cheered waving his hands and Nabi shut the door.
She sighed and walked to the couch with Jimin following her like a puppy. Both of them sat on the sofa and faced each other.
"So what are we going to do?" Nabi asked and Jimin thought for a while. "What do you want to do? We have an entire Sunday to kill." He pointed out the obvious.
Nabi smirked at him before moving closer to him. She wrapped her arms around his figure and rested her head on his shoulder.
Jimin froze in his place but didn't hug her back. "Let's go on a date. I want to go to an amusement park and then to this Dumpling restaurant I have always wanted to go to." She whispered in his ears.
He opened his eyes wide and parted his lips in surprise. He wrapped one arm around her back to support her before asking her.
"Date? What do you mean?" He squeaked. She pulled out of the hug but circled her arms around his neck before locking his gaze with him.
She pouted at him while he could see her face so close to his. He tried to calm down his pacing heart but tightened his arm around her back.
"You were the one who asked me to like you. I am doing that." She said while tilting her head and if Jimin's eyes could widen anymore then it probably happened.
"I asked you what? When?" He asked her frowning. "Last night when you were drunk. You asked me to like you. I am doing that now. Let's go on a date." She said and Jimin gulped before speaking.
"Are you just liking me because I asked you to?"
