20: Love yourself a bit more

"Since our company finally got the dealerships and investments, we are going on a company dinner. Thanks to everyone who worked hard on this project." Jimin announced with Nabi standing beside him writing something down in her notebook.

"Especially to Yu Nabi! She was awesome!" Yeonjun cheered when Nabi looked at him in confusion. Yeonjun was running to her with open arms but Jimin hugged him instead, to prevent him from hugging her. Nabi giggled at them.

While Suzy was fuming in the corner. "Look at this whore seducing all the men in this office. I bet she slept with Mr. Park." Tzuyu mumbled beside Suzy. She clenched her jaws and dug her nails into her palm. She stormed away from there.

AFTER A WHILE

Nabi was finished using the restroom when suddenly Jackson barged into the restroom. "Jackson this is a ladies rest room." Nabi gasped at him.

"Nobody is in her besides you." He said and held her shoulders and she froze on the spot. "Nabi, let's get a divorce. You know we are not together anymore so let's end this." He said and Nabi's eyes widen.

"What?" She asked while her eyes were filling up with tears. Jackson sighed and left his grip on her shoulders.

"Why can't you just like me?" Nabi questioned while crying. "I'll never like someone like you, Nabi," Jackson said while looking at her intensely. She shut her eyes and exhaled deeply.

"Please don't hurt me anymore. I'm working in this company because of you. I'm doing my best. All because of you, Jackson." Nabi said while crying.

"We agreed to this, Nabi. We got married only because I wanted citizenship. Since I got it so now you can leave me. I can't stay with a woman like you." He said before walking away to the door.

"Jackson listen!" She tried to stop him but he just walked out of the restroom. Nabi wiped her tears when someone entered the restroom.

"So you are married, Nabi? Yet you're flirting with so many men in the office. Does Jimin even know that you have a husband?" Suzy said while smirking at Nabi.

Nabi's eyes widen and she looked up at her. "What do you mean?" Nabi asked her. "You are Jackson's wife. Does anyone here know that?" Suzy asked again.

Nabi panicked and instantly walked past her to leave the restroom. Suzy too followed her out and grabbed her shoulder, turning her around.

"You have a husband and yet you're seducing men around here?" She said while stepping toward her.

Nabi took a step back, her face was pale and she was frightened. Suzy stepped towards her and Nabi stepped back. Her throat was becoming dry and she was having trouble breathing.

"You're a liar. Such a whore." Suzy said while walking towards her. Nabi shook her head trying not to break down in front of her.

"You are betraying all of us over here. You're a liar." Suzy yelled and stepped toward her.

Nabi stepped back but there were stairs behind her so she stumbled back until someone snaked their arm around her waist and prevented her from falling.

"J-Jimin?" Nabi asked while looking at him weakly. Jimin was looking at her in concern, his arm securely wrapped around her waist. He backed her up and hugged her tightly.

"What the fuck were you trying to do, Suzy?" Jimin glared at Suzy. "I didn't do anything, Jimin. She is the one betraying us." Suzy scoffed at him.

"She was about to fall off the stairs, God damn it!" Jimin barked.

"You don't even know what this girl is hiding. This girl is -"
"Shut up! Shut the fuck up, Suzy! You are fired! I don't give a fuck about this! Just leave this fucking building, this instant!" Jimin growled at her.

"But Jimin listen to me." Suzy tried to reason, her face radiating anxiety.
"No, I don't want to listen to your fucking explanation. I saw what I had to. Now just fucking leave! You don't deserve to be in this office anymore. You're harming others over here. This is the second time I caught you harassing her." He screamed at her.

"But she deserves it," Suzy screamed back.
"And you deserve to be fired. Fuck off before I call in the cops. If you dare try to reach her anymore then I'll make sure you're behind the bars!" He snarled before clutching onto Nabi's hand and taking her away from there.

Suzy stomped her feet and screamed at the top of her lungs, glaring at the door through which they passed by just now.

LATER AT NIGHT

Jimin was pushing Nabi into her room while she was moving emotionlessly. "Change into comfy. And come out, okay?" He said to her in the softest tone ever.

He gently shoved her into the extra room in which she was staying, and closed the door.

He sighed deeply before going to his room, taking a quick shower, and changing into some joggers and T-shirts. He heard the doorbell so he ran towards the door and opened it.

"Delivery under Park Jimin?" The delivery guy asked and Jimin nodded. "Here's your order, sir. Have a great night." The delivery guy handed him three huge bags of food.

Jimin greeted him as well and closed the door by his feet before dashing towards the dining table.

He set up the table with all the food and smiled at himself. He fused his brows in confusion looking at the living room.

"Where is she?" He mumbled before going to her room and knocking on it. "Nabi-ah, are you done? I'm coming in." He said before twisting the doorknob and getting in.

He noticed Nabi lying on her bed with comfy clothes. She was looking at the ceiling blankly and Jimin's heart ached at the sight.

"Nabi, let's go and have our party." He cheered in joy but Nabi didn't even flinch. His smile faded and he silently stared at her.

He bit his lips but walked towards her bed. He scooped her body up from the bed, lifting her in bridal style when Nabi looked at him with amusement in her eyes, circling her arms around his neck.

"Let's go eat, my special friend." He said, nuzzling her face with his nose.

Nabi looked at him silently as he took her to the dining table and placed her on the chair. He took a seat beside her but she was constantly looking at him.

Jimin smiled at her but then handed her a chopstick. "Don't mind them. Eat well." He said while ruffling her hair. Nabi smiled at him. "You too. Eat lots." She said before digging into the food.

They had a feast together and Jimin tried shifting her mind off the bad things by having a funny conversation. Nabi was giggling and laughing with him and she could feel herself forget about Jackson for a while.

After the meal was over, Nabi was smiling at him because of the conversation they had earlier when Jimin suddenly spoke.

"You are someone who fully deserves happiness, Nabi. You don't deserve to cry. Please think about yourself before thinking about others. Love yourself a bit more."
