Nabi looked at Jimin and then shrugged her shoulders with a pout before taking his tie in her grip, pulling him closer to her and making a knot.
Jimin was almost losing his breath while looking down at her carefully. Her hands delicately doing his tie while Jimin was lost in her eyes.
He didn't experience anything like this with anyone. No past girlfriends. Just a few night stands. No feelings involved.
Not loving parents. He was always independent and did things by himself. Never had dating scandals or relationships. Was always running away from love but this girl is messing him up.
"Done!" Nabi exclaimed and stepped back. Jimin took a deep breath and nodded before grabbing his coat and moving towards the door.
Nabi followed him quietly but halted. "Do I need to wear heels in the office?" She asked Jimin.
"There isn't a rule but that's what all of them wear." He shrugged while putting his shoes on.
"Jimin-ie, could you lend me your sneakers? Please!" Nabi whined to him making puppy eyes and doing a cute movement with her shoulders.
Jimin's eyes popped out of his sockets while he turned to look at her after hearing the way she cutely called him.
"Hmm? Please?" She pouted leaning her face towards him. He's could feel his heart fluttering again.
He pushed Nabi's face back with the palm of his hands and looked at his side. "Just do whatever you want." He said while blinking and preventing her to see his flustered face.
Nabi cheered before checking his shoe rack. She found some sneakers and put them on. Jimin looked at her shoes and gave her a poker look.
"My shoes are bigger than your feet. You'll fall." He said with a straight face. Nabi grinned at him before moving out, waking past him. Jimin shook his head.
"It's just the third day with her and she's doing me things." He said before going out.
AFTER A WHILE
Nabi was looking around the office. Trying to grasp the surroundings when something caught her eyes. Her eyes widen and she immediately hid behind the desk. "Hey, what are you doing?" The guy sitting at the desk asked Nabi.
"Shut up and continue doing your work. My married life depends on this. Don't interfere." She whispered the last sentence and paid attention to the scene in front.
Jackson was following the same girl, who was kissing him the other day, with a smile on his face.
Nabi noticed how that lady smiled at him and was talking about something but Jackson was lost in her eyes.
"Psst... Who's that lady?" Nabi asked the same guy next to her who was sitting on his recliner. She pointed to the lady and the guy followed her finger.
"She's Miss Suzy. The General manager of this place." The guy replied. Jackson was smiling widely at her. It hurt Nabi. The lady left the place but Jackson walked in Nabi's direction.
His eyes widen and he rushed to her while she stood up straight. "What are you doing here?" He whisper and yelled at her before holding her hand and dragging her away from the place.
He took her to the restroom and left the grip on her hand. "I'm here to take you back with me," Nabi said.
"I said you, Nabi. I don't love you. Why don't you try to understand? Don't you get tired of obsessing over me?" Jackson spat at her.
"She must be really different to you." She said bitterly with tears brimming her eyes. Jackson nodded his head.
"Can't you tell? She is totally different than you." He growled at her and stormed out. Nabi's tears streamed down her face and she shut her eyes.
She then wiped her tears and went towards Jimin's cabin. She knocked and opened the door. Jimin looked at her and frowned.
"Is everything alright, Nabi?" He asked. Nabi flashed a smile and bobbed her head but Jimin could figure it out.
"It doesn't look like to me, though." He said and Nabi's smile faltered. She started sobbing and crouched down.
Jimin gasped and quickly went to her figure, kneeling on his left knee. He gently held her shoulder and she looked up at him.
Jimin observed her puffy eyes, red nose, tears streaming down her face, and the hiccups she was making. "What is wrong?" He softly asked her in concern.
"Is it useless to be good? After everything I sacrificed, all I get is humiliation." She said while shutting her eyes. Jimin hugged her body and stroked her hair gently. His heart aching at the sight of her tears.
"It's not wrong to be good. Whatever it is, I am sorry. Whatever bad thing happened to you, I'm apologizing for that. But don't change yourself. You're the most gorgeous person just the way you are. Don't change yourself because others want you to change." He said when she cried harder.
"Hey, it's alright. Come on. Stop crying, Nabi." Jimin comforted her, rubbing her back continuously. He was about to pull back but Nabi stopped him.
"Don't do that. I'm looking miserable." She says and Jimin chuckled.
"Well, I saw it earlier as well so I don't mind seeing your ugly crying face." He said and pulled out. His heart clenched at the sight.
Her eyes were puffy, her face and ears all red, her dried tears on her cheeks. She was looking like a mess. But he would rather interpret it as a beautiful mess.
He took out the handkerchief and handed it to her. "Now, Crybaby. Let's go and get some lunch. It's almost lunchtime."
AFTER A WHILE
Nabi was sitting on a chair with the food tray in front of her. Jimin's tray was in front of hers but he went out to take a call. She was enjoying her food when suddenly she heard a voice beside her.
"Oh, Miss Creepy Stalker. You're here as well?" The guy took a seat beside her. "Oh, the guy on the desk who helped me identify Miss Suzy," Nabi said while pointing at him with raised eyebrows. He chuckled and nodded his head.
"So whom are you stalking now?" He asked. "Food!" Nabi replied and he giggled.
"I'm Choi Yeonjun. What's your name, Miss Creepy Stalker?" He introduced himself before stuffing his mouth with food. "Yu Nabi." She replied.
Jimin entered the cafeteria only to find the two of them laughing with each other. He glared at Yeonjun and stomped towards the table. Both of them looked at him and Yeonjun quickly stood up from his seat.
"Mr. Park, what brings you to the cafeteria?" Yeonjun asked in amusement.
Jimin glared at him before taking his seat. He could feel his heart burning. But couldn't figure out why.
"It's his cafeteria. He can come here, duh!" Nabi said while slurping her noodles aggressively.
Yeonjun smacked her head gently and Jimin shot him a cold look. "This is our CEO, you fool! Stand up!" He barked at Nabi. She rubbed her head and glared at him.
"And I'm his secretary! So what?" She said and pulled his sleeve to make him sit back.
"Oh, so you're the new cute secretary?" Yeonjun questioned her. "Cute secretary?" Nabi inquired.
"Yes, the entire office is talking about you. You are so kind, bubbly, and adorable." Yeonjun said casually. Nabi shrugged and resumed eating.
Jimin was trying to control his anger by fisting his hands. He cleared his throat aggressively causing both of them to look in his direction.
"Do you have a cold?" Nabi asked him and he shot his head at her. He gritted his teeth but flashed a forced smile at her and shook his head. Yeonjun suddenly spoke something which made Jimin snap in a second.
"Oh but you are cute."
