they boarded the bus together, sitting at different sides and seats. Lavender turned her head to Beomgyu who was sitting two seats behind her in the opposite row. he was staring outside the window, tracing his finger down to a melted snowflake.

she rested her head against the window and placed her portfolio in the empty space next to her, hoping she wouldn't lose or forget it.

snow piled on top of buildings and it had only been November. Lavender was surprised, frankly, because it wasn't normally snow season. it saddened her that classes would end in February. she enjoyed creating and sculpting new pieces everyday. she was thankful she had another two years to study at the university but since most of her classmates live abroad, they wouldn't continue attending the art school.

she watched the buildings grow smaller and larger within distance. she watched as tens of people boarded the bus. she recognized most of them, as they went to her school, giving them small waves and smiles exchanged.

snow began to pile upon the ground outside of many shops and stores, satisfaction grew inside of her as she realized how close she were to the school. she closed her eyes, hoping to catch a minute of sleep before hours of back to back art classes.

the bus ride felt like ages to her , as if time couldn't have moved any slower. Lavender-still drowsy from her small nap on the bus-stood up from her seat to get out from the bus. tens of people swarmed around her, hoping to get out as well.

she walked out to the side walk and placed both of her hands in the pockets of her coat. with her head bobbing back to forth from the song replaying in her head, she felt the urge to spin in circles as a sudden wave of happiness flew over her.

until she felt a strange feeling.

she left the bus-empty handed.

her portfolio.

with his headphones in, Beomgyu boarded the bus. he grew rather uncomfortable when the bus was soon full of strangers he never imagined seeing, but he should of expected, as a new student in a university.

hoping to drain all the anxiety that flew through his head and physically with his shaky legs and hands, he played his music through his earbuds, resting his head against the window. he felt at ease, but not entirely.

he sighed softly, creating a small fog of air on the window he rested his head on. he placed his hand on the left side of his chest, rubbing it in circles to try and calm himself from anxiety of his first day.

he felt no ease as the bus stopped for the university. swarms of people crowded in front of him to get off the bus as he raised his eyebrows in shock.

i didn't know they'd be so eager to go to school.

he sighed and walked forward. he hoped the girl would still be on the bus, so he peeked his head to her seat. sadly, he saw nothing but a folder.

a folder.

he widened his eyes as his memory played flashbacks of the girl clutching the folder in her hands, looking through the hundreds of pieces.

Beomgyu tried to imagine the situation of him forgetting pieces he spent years on, left on a bus by accident. he couldn't do it, it terrified him too much.
