                                      D - 35

so many days had passed after their first kiss and Lavender still couldn't believe the way her heart raced that night. from her lipstick smeared to the way they watched the stars that night. after that, they would exchange kisses and pecks but nothing more. she thought the idea of labeling them as something more than friends would ruin their friendship but it didn't.

on the other hand, Beomgyu knew this type of love would never work. the type where he would have to disappear so soon. he didn't want to believe it, not at all. but he knew he would have to tell her, he just wished he didn't have to leave.

nothing could compare to the pain Taehyun felt, especially the night of their first kiss. she had run to Taehyun's place, telling him everything. he couldn't hold in the pain he felt, but he knew he had to. it hurt when Beomgyu told him everything too, he described the scenery, her glowing face in the starlight and Taehyun could picture it. it only resulted in more pain swelling up into his heart.

the young blonde spent his time working in the flower shop but aside from that, trying to come up with new lyrics for his songs. he had such writers block even when he had so much emotion. he tried every day to work on something new but it was almost impossible

"Taehyun!" Lavender exclaimed as the boy sat at a table, his head looking at his song writing book. she held up a box of sweets and shook the bag, receiving a smile from him.

"Lav!" he embraced the girl and helped her sit down. "you're not with Beomgyu today?"

"oh, no, gyu's working on something at home." she smiled and placed a finger on her mouth. "it's a secret."

"ah i see." Taehyun said, continuing to write. if anybody else were Lavender's boyfriend and said they had a secret at home, he would've thought they were cheating. but Beomgyu was quite devoted to the girl and his heart was set so if Lavender wasn't worried why should Taehyun be? "are you working on something?"

"i wish." he rubbed his temples. "i have the worst writer's block, i can't write any lyrics." he ate one of the biscuits Lavender brought.

Lavender pouted, resting her chin on her palms. "i've heard playing an instrument helps. oh, and getting deep into your emotion." she looked at him. "has anything been on your mind often?"

you.

its always you.

"nope." he leaned in the chair and crossed his arms. "but don't worry about it, i'll surely come up something." he reached out and squeezed her cheek with his fingers, smiling.

"how's your art project going?"

Lavender breathed in and thought hard. "okay?"

"what's with the questioning voice? did you receive another critique?" Taehyun took a bite of the muffin Lavender brought him.

"no, it's nothing like that. it's just, i really love the project, but i'm upset the school year's ending so soon." she sulked. "i don't even know what i want to do after college with my art degree."

"Lavender, relax. you're only in your third year, you have one more to go. you'll figure it out eventually." he smiled.

"thanks, Tyun."
