the next day, Beomgyu knocked on Lavender's door. he wanted to see her after the last few days of being m.i.a. the girl readily rushed downstairs and opened the door, seeing Beomgyu.

he wore his same mittens and winter coat. his face was rather red from the cold temperature, but warmed up once he saw Lavender.

she wore a long skirt, her black hair in a ponytail and her sweater hem cutting off at the top of her skirt. she was absolutely adorable, but Beomgyu loved her flower earrings that dangled and pricked the side of her neck. they were so beautiful to him, but, he was too shy to say anything to her.

"Beomgyu!" she reached out and embraced him lovingly—platonically... she rushed him inside before the snow could hit him anymore. "have you eaten?"

"i came to ask you that!" he exclaimed and smiled, the girl mimicking his action.

"i haven't, but i was planning on eating here and i'd love for you to join me!" she smiled, bringing Beomgyu to the dining table. he took his mittens off and placed them into his pockets, resting his coat on the back of the chair and straightening out his grey sweater.

she made her way over to the kitchen next to the dining table and placed her pointer finger on her chin. Beomgyu soon accompanied her, not wanting for her to have to cook a meal all by herself for the both of them. he washed his hands in the sink, wiping his hands with a towel and placing his hands into the pockets of his jeans.

"what do you want to eat?" she said, turning her head to see him a lot closer than she thought he was, moving over. a red tint escaped to her face to see him so close. he was so beautiful, that wasn't anything out of the blue to Lavender, of course, because she always thought that. but up close, it was as if he had stars in his eyes. his eyelashes were rather long and she loved when they'd flutter in confusion. or when his eyes were the brightest when he sang and played the guitar. every day she fell more in love with him.

".....pancakes?" Beomgyu softly suggested, having to tilt his head down to Lavender and smiling once the girl agreed. his starry eyes turned to crescents, making Lavender do the same.

he soon became her assistant, bringing ingredients, spoons, whisks, pans and everything she asked for. even if he didn't know, he would help her.

"whisk the batter but not until its too thin." Lavender said, confusing Beomgyu. she smiled softly and whisked it, showing him how.

without thinking, he came from behind her to try himself, englufing her entire body with his arms. a blush creeped up on the girl's cheeks, but Beomgyu didn't notice. he switched places with the girl and whisked the batter like he was shown as she went to the stove and completed the other things needed.

"do we have chocolate chips?" Beomgyu asked, opening the drawers.

"y-yeah, but why would we need them?" she itched the back of her head, still trying to get rid of the red flush on her face from the indirect back hug she received from her crush.

Beomgyu widened his eyes. "you've never had chocolate chip pancakes?" he clasped a hand over his mouth. "what a sad life you live." he joked.

"i've only had the original ones," she placed a finger on her chin. "plain pancakes i think is what they're called?"

"no, you're trying chocolate chip pancakes today!" he laughed, opening the bag and shaking hundreds of chips into the batter, Lavender running over to stop him. her hand grazed his, laughing.
