Zander is way too cold to me. I know he cares for me but he seems so distant even though we are just near each other. We are casually talking but I feel there is a big wall between us. He asked someone to get me a change of clothes from the hotel and they seems to be close and familiar with each other. The little guy is cute and I feel bile rising up my throat. They are talking in language I can't understand, and the guy is trying to look me up.
Shit. Who is that guy? They are too close for comfort.
We went back to resort together. As we are nearing the lobby, we saw Hunter having heated discussion with Aimee. Miss e with Shirley is hurrying up to me.
"They have been at this since this morning and it is already alarming." Miss E told me. I heave a long sigh.
"Miss E asked them to see in the conference hall. I think it is empty tight now and it is but civil we will talk our personal matters in closed doors." I coldly asked miss E to the favor for me. I was looking for Zander for support but he was no where in sight. He just left me to settle this alone.
How cruel of me to ask him to accompany me while I break up with a guy? After this fiasco with Hunter, where would this lead me? How would face the board members, the investors, my employees? My life is fuck up right now and the people that I want by my side is nowhere near me.
I waited for sometime before Hunter and Aimee appeared. Hunter can't look at me straight but Aimee is on another level. There is no visible remorse on her face and she is even smirking at me.
"I think the both of you knows why I called for you here. The audacity of the two of you to quarrel infront of a lot of people. I don't care if you two have declared an all out war with each other but please do it privately. Be civil enough not to show how evil the two of you." I scolded them.
"Hon, its not like what you think." Hunter tries to reason out.
"I have seen enough Hunter and you don't have to explain anything about it. I saw it with my own two eyes and its enough for me to decide that you have been cheating me with her. But I want to know when did this started?" I asked Hunter.
"You are so hypocrite Noelle." I was startle with Aimee's outburst. " If I don't know it, you have been doing it with Zander too. It is clear as the daylight that you are still hang up on him, and bout Hunter, you can ask yourself why he is with me when you act all prude."
I was shock with Aimee's revelation. I didn't think I'm that transparent. I was totally oblivious of how I look and I know I have my attraction with Zander at bay.
"Don't you dare turn the blame on me. I have been faithfull with Hunter eversince. I have never done anything to put our relationship at risk. Do you think I'm not serious enough when I even introduce him to the media as my future husband?" I replied to her angrily.
"Stop it Aimee, you re not helpful. I'm realy sorry hon, I was just carried away. I have my needs and we haven't been intimate since." Hunter pleaded.
"Hey Hunter, it wasn't like that. You are the one who come to complaining of your dull relationship with him and beside you still like pussy." I was aghast with what I am hearing. and I had enough of this two. I can't believe that I wasted my four years with this scumbag.
"You two can start packing your belongings, I want you out of my sight before the day ends. And please vacate my units before I arrive back in Manila, you can keep the key cards, I'll arrange something with the management. I don't care were you will go after this just be gone." I shouted at them and Hunter keeps on begging me but I just cant take it anymore. What I have seen last night was enough for me. I don't like to be cheated on. I let go of my greatest love because he cheated on me, I can do that with Hunter too.
"What's the meaning of this Noelle?" Connor is here, how come he is here. "I heard from Zander about this scumbag and the audacity of the two of to be still here?" He bellowed to the two. Connor is furious right now and this is the Connor I don't want to see. Connor has been possessive of me and very protective.
"And you? Why you didn't call me? Why do I have to receive a call from your secretary that you are in a bad situation? If I hadn't called up Zander I wouldn't know the reason behind." Connor started yelling at me. At the rate Connor is yelling at me it is in no time the entire resort will know my situation.
"Keep you voice down low Connor, this is private matter and I don't want this to blow out of proportion." I tried to pacify Connor. "And you two be gone now before Connor catch you."
"But hon you cant do this to me." Hunter beg.
"We are done Hunter, we are over. If you think I can't let you go, trust me I can." I answered Hunter with bravery.
"Yes you can let me go because all you ever wanted was to be with that jerk who tossed you aside." Hunter replied to me angrily. His face is so red and veins is popping at his neck. "Eversince we arrive here you haven't been with me and I can see that you are still hang up with that man. You are still after him. You are never ever over him."
"So what if I am? I gave you my all for four years Hunter. I was happy with you that four years we are together but I don't think you are even faithfull to me. You just go along with me because I was convenient. You could have told me, you could have save the both of us the time and effort wasted. You are despicable." I remove the ring he gave me and throw it in his face. "You see I choose you because I thought you were different. I choose you even though my heart ache with longing because I thought you were worth it but damn I was wrong all the while. You betrayed me." I cried as my heartache with my wrong decisions, I cried because the choices I made I'm the one who suffers.
Hunter was rooted on his spot and then out of nowhere Connor punch him in his face. All hell boke loose. Then I saw Zander holding Connor restraining him from landing more punches to Hunter. Hunter was bleeding on his nose and now Aimee is at his side.
"Stop this bullshit. This is all Noelle's fault. If he hasn't been some kind of a prude, never ever being intimate with Hunter, he wouldn't have gone to me." Aimee was hysterics. "We wouldn't have come if you didn't force him to come here."
"Get out of here right now while I am still being civil with the two of you." I was livid with the two of them. "You are over staying your welcome here. I am done with you two, get lost."
I turned a walked towards the shore.
