8 - Confusing

It's been a week since I was introduced in the company. I was shocked with announcement that I am the legit CEO and I hold the biggest share in the company. Zander step down from his position and now on the final part of turnover of responsibility. There would be grand party wherein I'll be introduced to the business world. The HR department sent out notice of invitation to different company for the said event. This will be held at the grand ballroom of Dusit Hotel in Makati.

Today is the schedule day for department head to submit their weekly target and other reports. As the fixture of CEO's comfort room is being fixed I dont have a choice but to use the clerks CR in the hallway. As I walk towards the CR I can hear familiar voices murmuring solftly.

"Hey do it slowly. Don't pinch it hurts." I can clearly hear Zander voice now.

"Don't move too much, I'm almost done. No one will notice it now." That voice definitely belong to that bitch. 

So I walked faster toward the common CR and I am not mistaken, Shirley the bitch in heat is clinging to Zander. Zander's eye is wide with shock and the bitch is smirking as if she is happy to show me they are flirting in the office. I just pass them as if I don't care.

"Oh I'm sorry for interrupting you, go on continue. Dont mind my presence." I said to them as I wash my hands and walks out of the washroom as if nothing happened.

I passed by Miss E table and I wasn't able to stop myself from voicing out my disappointment.

"I can't believe what I witnessed in the wash area. Can't they do their personal business outside the company? Is this naturally occuring incidence in the company?" I purposely make my louder intending for those two to hear me.

"Sir Noelle, I dont really know but Miss Shirley is..." I cut whatever Miss E is about to explain.

"I dont need to hear details Miss Esther" and with that I went inside the office.

It's good that Zander vacate the CEO office and used Miss E table to do his paperworks. I couldn't stand his presence and he does prove to be a great distraction. I would always see Shirley the bitch going in this floor, she has all the time to visit and flirt with Zander. My boyfriend called up to remind me about his arrival on Saturday night. I have to mke an arrangement for the accomodation for his secretary. So I called Miss E to make the arrangement.

"Hello Miss E, my boyfriend with his secretary will arrive on Saturday, can you make and arrangement for his secretary accomodation," I told her. "And also can you check a reliable rent-a-car service for a week"

"Yes Sir, I got it." Miss E replied. "Condo unit for your boyfriend's secretary near our office and rent-a-car for a week."

I know Zander can hear us talking on the phone but the hell I care. I have move on already and I'm ready for my new life with my boyfriend. I was thinking of Hunter while I'm holding on my engagement ring. I'll make our relationship official during the grand ball of my appointment as CEO.

I keep myself busy afterward reviewing reports from different departments. Afterwards I ask Miss E to accompany me arround the company, I want to see how my employees during working hours. I also want to check the canteen as I'm planning to improve the meal plan and to include several dishes. I also want to check how on HR's pre-employment procedure. In as much I want to usher our company into global market I need to check the employees condition too.

"Miss E, can you go with me to make a rounds on different department after lunch?" I told her thru the intercom there was long silence and I was startled with I heard Zander voice

"Miss E has to take half day off today as it is her schedule for executive check up," he replied to me. My heart beats faster and my throat feels dry I can't formulate words to reply to him. "If you like I can do the favor of going with you." I can feel that Zander is carefully phrasing his words. Whats with him?
