"Can you-
-stop!
Attacking me!"
Percy desperately tried avoiding my attacks as I pressed him. My golden sword clashing with his bronze sword. He fought defensively, his skill with the sword far more impressive then I was anticipating.
"You got her killed!" I shouted at him. "If you hadn't let those monsters out, she would still be here!"
Percy parried another stab I had attempted. "She turned me into a Guinea Pig! We had no choice, I didn't mean to-"
I attempted to slash him, but an arrow struck in between us stopping me in my tracks. We both turned towards the direction of Gwen, who stood atop of boulder dripping wet. She lowered her bow.
"Rey! Why are you attacking him!? They are friendly!" She gestured to the two other camp half-blood campers behind her.
My eyes widen. "Friendly!? That's a cyclops!"
I pointed at the large cyclops standing behind her. He could have been almost seven feet tall, had a messy mat of black hair and one large, brown eye. The cyclops waved. "Yes! Friendly cyclops!"
The faun standing next to him sighed, squeezing water out from his shirt. His bushy brown goat legs tapped nervously against the boulder. The faun's horns protruded from his curly brown hair and he had a thin beard and a bad case of acne.
"We don't have time for this. It took us forever to convince the little Steve Irwin wannabe here that Tyson is not a threat. We have other things to worry about." The faun said.
Bronk appeared from behind Tyson's leg and kicked the fauns leg. The faun jumped on one leg, trying his best not to curse out Bronk.. "Don't disrespect our national hero again mate. Now can someone help me clean some of my tools? Water is not supposed to be on this stuff."
The cyclops, named Tyson, giggled. "I can help you little Steve."
The cyclops extended his right hand towards Bronk's book bag and made a pulling motion. Suddenly, water began seeping from the bag. Soon enough, a glob of water floated in front of Tyson and he directed it into his mouth. "Ah, thirsty." He said happily while patting his belly.
Gwen, Bronk and I stared at the cyclops, mystified. "How the..... how did you do that?" Bronk asked him, his Australian accent disappearing towards the end of his question.
Percy pressed his finger against the tip of his sword and it reverted back to his pen. "Okay, uh, Rey, see? I'm friendly."
"Don't call me Rey!" I shouted, I lunged after him, but Gwen grabbed me by my waist.
"Enough! We have bigger things to worry a-"
BOOOOOM
The rocky surface above us exploded. A large snake fell on the rocky surface we stood on, followed by something far far worse.
A massive dragon like creature stomped on the snake below. The dragon was similar to a centaur, with the upper body of a women, but the lower half of a dragon. She had a mane of green pit vipers for hair, similar to Medusa, and wore dragon skin armor over her chest. The part of her body where she transitioned from "women" to dragon was difficult to describe. Her waist was a blur of creatures trying to escape her body. The faces of Cyclopes, lions, tigers, dragons and more could all be seen morphing in and out of her waist. The head of a Cyclops held her whip in his mouth, his big eye full of fear.
She stomped the snake beneath her feet and spoke in a tongue I couldn't understand. The faun grimaced. "How could she do that to her own child?"
The monster turned her attention to us, a cold grin forming on her face. Her face was actually kind of pretty, if you could get over her cold black eyes with no pupils.
