Jury's POV:
"Another gang fight had happened where at least 5 people were injured and was rushed to the hospital yesterday at 7 PM, police are still continuing to investigate what gang is it and where are they from."
I chewed on my food while staring at the TV screen where a news is showing, nakataas ang dalawang paa ko sa upuan habang patuloy na nanonood ng balita.
"It is said that it might be the same gang that has been roaming the town for more than a year, but still on this day... The mastermind of the gang that's on the lookout is still unkown."
"Nonsense news."
Tiningnan ko si Noah nang bigla siyang sumulpot sa salas at kinuha ang remote sa tabi ko, I glared at him when he changed the channel.
"Turn it back." I demanded while still eating.
Hindi siya umimik at tumabi nalang saakin, he crosses his legs and it made me frown when he rested his arm on the headboard of the coach behind me, making me feel like his arm is around me.
"Turn it back, I was watching."
Hindi pa rin siya umimik kaya napairap nalang ako, I rested my back on the sofa and continued to munch silently while grumpily looking at the TV.
"You should stop walking back to your house from now on."
I looked at him with a questioning look.
"Gangs are everywhere, you might bump onto one." Dagdag niya.
"I can fight." Pagmamayabang ko bago umiwas ng tingin, I just watched on the random show on TV that he put on although I still wanted to watch the news. Mukhang natutulad na rin ako kay kuya sa kaadikan niya sa TV.
I looked at the clock near us to check the time, tiningnan ko ang cellphone ko pagkatapos dahil sa sunod sunod nitong pag-vibrate. I snorted when I saw that it was from our group chat, obviously, they're bickering. But as soon as I read further, they started to plan on going out tomorrow.
"What's with your group chat?"
Napabalikwas ako ng tayo nang magsalita si Noah habang nakasilip sa cellphone ko, I immediately turn off my phone and snorted at him.
"Can't you stop being so nosy? Privacy ko 'to, oh!"
After 5 seconds of staring at me, he burst out laughing that made me furrowed my brows.
"Anong nakakatawa?" Naiinis kong tanong.
"You acted like you're hiding something important, I've already seen it so what's the use of hiding it?" He crossed his arms and raised his left brow at me.
"Kakapag-ayos lang natin kanina tapos ganyan ka na, just stop peeking! It's none of your business!" I screamed.
If he found out that I'll be meeting my friends tomorrow, baka sumama pa siya o kaya sumulpot sa kung saan. Hindi nila alam kung sino at anong itsyura ni Noah kaya kapag nakita nila 'tong lalaking 'to, there's a possibility na magkagulo ang lahat. I don't want to hide it from them but if they found out that I'm meeting someone that looks like Jacob, I'll be in very big trouble.
Napahinto ako bigla sa naisip ko.
Am I really going out with him just because he looks like him?... Wait, what do I mean by going out?
"Earth to Jury."
I came back to reality when Noah suddenly snapped his fingers in front of me, wala sa sariling napatitig ako sakanya.
Well, yeah he looks like him but the way he acts? They're not the same so if someone will ask me who am I gonna pick between the two of them? I'll probably answer...
