Jury's POV:
"Maze."
"Gideon."
I'm in-between them, although none of them are looking at me, I could still feel the strong tension in this place. There's a loud music but I could hear the deafening silence at the back of the house where we're at, even the people enjoying their privacy here earlier are already gone.
"How are you? I've never seen you in years!" Gideon laughs but it doesn't sound like it was a genuine laugh for a person that he didn't saw for years.
Maze kept his silence behind me, nang mapansin naman 'yon ni Gideon ay huminto na ito sa pag-tawa. He grinned as he looked at me.
"New friend, huh?" Tiningnan niya ulit si Maze, "That's lucky." he said with a thick sarcasm.
I gritted my teeth and started to feel anger inside me, I never knew about this guy but there's something that I know; he's the one that Noah is looking for and as for Maze, it seems like they have a strong and dangerous bond towards each other.
"I heard what you did to Noah's car before." Maze finally decided to speak.
The guy smirked, "Does news really spread that fast? Did you received it immediately from this place towards the town that you're living in nowadays? 2 towns away, that's impressive."
"I told you, don't involve other people here."
"And what if I can?" Gideon smirked, "Especially this guy -"
I flinched when Maze suddenly walked forward, kinuwelyuhan niya si Gideon at sinamaan ng tingin. Doon na lamang ako nag-pasyang maglakad patalikod nang dahan-dahan, I don't want to be squished in the middle of their fight. Even though Maze never told me about it, I'm sure enough that he's handling a group... More like, a gang.
Tumigil ako sa paglalakad nang patalikod nang may mabanggaan ako, I looked behind me to see who it was. My breath hitched when I saw a tall guy standing straight while his deep blue eyes are looking at me, he got a cold ocean eyes, strong jaw, stood really formal and has a natural dirty blonde hair. He looks like a foreigner.
"Stay here." He commanded before returning his gaze at the front again, hindi nalang ako nakapag-salita at nakatungong humarap.
"Max, how long should we keep on waiting?" I heard one of Maze's man asked.
"Wait for his signal, we can't move without his orders."
Natigilan ako sa sinagot ng lalaking nasa likuran ko. So his name is Max, his name sounds familiar to me.
Bumalik nalang ang tingin ko kina Maze at Gideon nang makita kong gumalaw sila, my eyes widen when I saw how Maze lifted Gideon in the air while still holding the neckline of his shirt. He was about to punch him when suddenly, they both froze and slowly looked at their right.
Sinundan ko ang tiningnan nila at nagsalubong ang kilay ko nang makita ko si ang schoolmate ko na tahimik na nakatayo at nakatingin sakanilang dalawa, I couldn't help but stare at him as he just silently stare at Maze and Gideon with his cold eyes.
Why is Dean Park here?
"Why are you here?" Gideon asked, half annoyed. Dean didn't answered and just continued to stare at them while he's wearing a specs, even his gray and wavy hair is being swayed by the air.
Tiningnan ko si Maze nang bitawan na niya si Gideon, he glared at Dean before walking away. Sinundan naman siya ng mga lalaking nasa likuran niya kasama na ang lalaking nagngangalang Max na nasa likuran ko kanina.
