Jury's POV:
Nakatitig lang ako sa katapat kong babae sa lamesa, she was pouting while sipping her frappe with a straw. Her chin was resting on the back of her head on the table while looking somewhere on her right.
Napabuntong-hininga nalang ako bago sumandal sa upuan ko.
She pushed me to go back to the café with her and buy her a new coffee after she kicked me multiple times but, she ended up pointing the frappe to me and demanded that she wanted one.
I suddenly remembered what she said earlier, I cleared my throat and looked away.
What does it mean? How the hell would Noah...like me?
"You're all red, I hope you choke from your saliva."
Tiningnan ko si Chanel nang magsalita siya, she remains resting her chin on the back of her hand on the table while looking at me. She gave me a bored look.
"I could've end you, you know."
I smiled a little, "I hope that will work out." I said while looking at her beverage.
Kumunot ang noo niya at umupo nang maayos, she stopped sipping her drink and glared at me.
"No, this will never work out. I have a big anger towards you." Naiinis na kinamot niya ang ulo niya, "I don't even know your name!"
If I'm just drinking right now, baka kanina pa ako nasamid sa huling sinabi niya. So she just attacked me while not knowing my name?
"What... What do you mean by earlier anyway?"
"Don't talk to me, you bastard."
I sighed, maybe this girl is really stubborn and has anger issues. Maybe she's doing this because...
"Do you like Noah?" Tanong ko.
Instead of denying it, she took a sip from her frappe first before grumpily nodding her head. "Isn't it that obvious? I almost knocked you out, do you think I'll do that for fun?"
I pout a bit and looked away. She didn't even hurt me earlier though, maybe because she just started crying that's why she couldn't focus on her attacks and land it to me heavily.
"I'm mad that he likes hanging out with you."
Bumalik ang tingin ko sakanya, "Do you mean like... He just likes hanging out with me?"
"Yeah. Do you think he'll like you romantically? He's straighter than a pole..." Napaisip siya bigla, "Well, sort of."
Ngumiti lang ako, I couldn't understand why I felt a little disappointed from what she said. Did I just expected that he'll like me? No way! It's Chanel's fault for not completing her words earlier.
"... But it was my first time seeing him like that."
"Hm?" My brows lifted when she whispered something, hindi ko 'yon narinig.
Sinamaan niya lang ako ng tingin, "Nothing!" Tumayo siya habang hawak-hawak ang frappe niya. She combed her hair using her fingers and sighed heavily before looking at me.
"The next time I see you again, I swear, I'll knock you off seriously." She turned around and started walking away but I immediately stopped her by standing up and calling her again.
"Wait!"
Nilingon niya ako at tinaasan ng isang kilay.
I slowly pointed the glass that she's holding, "That... It belongs to the café."
