Jury's POV:
"Kahit sino pa ang iharap niyo saakin, walang makakapigil sa pagka-kape ko. I actually don't understand why people hated coffees, some people are really killer joys. So that Harvard, humanda siya sa'kin. I don't even know if he genuinely likes coffees or he's just drinking it because he's with us inside a café."
I remained crossing my arms while I'm facing Nathan at the living room, nang makita kong tapos na siyang mag-rant sa harapan ko ay doon lang ako nakapag-salita.
"... How did you get inside our house?" Nagtataka kong tanong.
I was about to go to the kitchen just minutes ago then I suddenly saw him in the middle of the living room and the time that he saw me, he just started ranting in front of me and didn't even said 'hi'. Nagtataka ako kung paano siya nakapasok dahil naka-lock ang pinto.
He's catching his own breath as he pointed the window near us, "I broke in, sorry."
I stared at him in disbelief before I put down my hands, "Labas. This is trespassing."
Tinulak ko siya papunta sa pinto, nang mabuksan ko ang pinto ay hinila ko siya palabas habang siya ay patuloy pa rin na nagrereklamo.
"You're too noisy to be a robber."
"Come on, I have no one to tell this! Me and Harvard fought in a call!"
"Because of a coffee?" I asked him with a bored tone.
He pouted.
"Doon ka mag-wala sa bahay ni ate Perry," I pointed at her house, "bukas yung pinto, oh. Welcome ka."
He just blew a loud breath and gave a glare before walking away, nang mawala na siya ay doon lang ako napahinga nang malalim bago pumasok ulit sa loob. After locking the door again, I was about to walk towards the kitchen when suddenly, a noise came from the window near me. Napasigaw ako nang makita ko doon si Nathan na masama ang itsyura habang nagsasalita at nakalapat ang dalawang palad niya sa bintana.
"I'm really gonna kill that bastard for talking shits about coffees, I swear to God. Thank goodness that Chet wasn't involve earlier because if yes, I'll definitely gonna -"
Nang makalapit ako sa bintana ay agad kong binaba ang kurtina at hinawakan ang dibdib ko sa gulat, sinamaan ko nalang ng tingin ang kurtina kung saan nasa likuran noon si Nathan na nagsasalita pa rin.
"What's up with him?" I shook my head before walking towards the kitchen, leaving him still ranting outside.
After drinking a glass of water, I took out my phone and looked through my messages. Agad kong nakita ang message ni Maze, nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang maalala ko kung anong meron ngayon.
"Fuck!" I sprint towards my room before entering the bathroom to take a shower.
I forgot what he told me yesterday, after Noah brought me home in silence last night, I obviously forgot about my plan with Maze today.
"Shiiiit!!!" I quickly changed my clothes into a large brown shirt and a black jeans, nang magsapatos ako ay kinuha ko ulit ang cellphone ko.
After fixing my hair in front of the mirror, I left my room and stopped in front of my brother's room when I went downstairs.
Binuksan ko ang pinto at sinilip siya sa loob pero nakakapag-tataka na wala siya, I looked around again but still, it was all silence and my brother is not around.
Maybe he's on a date, again.
I took a deep breath before closing his door. I'll just text him later.
