Shattered #15: Answer The Question

Jury's POV:

I sighed heavily as I put my phone beside me while I'm lying down on my bed, I can't believe Nathan will really keep his words that he'll be a delivery guy. Who will know that one of the customer is Dean Park? I wonder what really happened when they saw each other... Well they're not really close, Dean doesn't know Nathan after all.

Tumitig lang ako sa kisame at napabuntong-hininga.

I think it's been a week since I last contacted my other friends, si Nathan lang ang nakakausap ko habang sina Chet naman ay alam ang dahilan kung bakit hindi ako lumalabas ng bahay.

I looked at my phone when I suddenly thought of Noah.

He doesn't know my reason, right? It's been a week too since I last saw him, it's not like it's a big deal for him not to see me though. I just hope he knows I like caging myself inside our house.

Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko at tiningnan ang mga messages niya na nareceive ko nitong mga nakaraang araw, he sent my countless of messages but I never opened it nor reply back. I just... don't like contacting someone for now.

I sat at the corner of my bed and out of nowhere, my eyes stopped on one book on top of my study table. I slowly got up and walked towards it, kinuha ko 'yon habang nakatitig sa unahan ng libro.

I opened the book, expecting to see a dried white flower in between 2 pages but I didn't saw any. It's been more than 4 months since I last touched this book and it's a foreign feeling to touch it again.

I looked down as I close my eyes, bumagsak rin ang braso ko na hawak ang libro.

Am I mentally unstable again? Do I need another therapy?

Walang gana nalang na binalik ko sa lamesa ang libro at tumalikod, I just stepped out of my room and headed downstairs where I found no one there.

Umalis kanina si kuya pero hindi ko alam kung saan siya pumunta.

The both of us are actually in a good terms now, I visited my parents after he confronted me a week ago but he never noticed that I've been isolating myself because he's too busy that sometimes he's not home for a day or two.

Papunta na sana ako sa kusina pero napahinto ako nang makarinig ako ng katok mula sa pinto namin, I walked towards the door with a frown.

I don't expect visitors today.

Binuksan ko ang pinto at napatitig nalang ako nang makita ko si Maze habang may hawak siya na mga pagkain, he smiled at me when he saw me before lifting the foods a bit for me to see it.

"Am I welcome today?" He asked with a cheeky smile on.

Napatulala pa ako nang ilang segundo bago wala sa sariling tumango, his smiled widen even more before entering inside.

I just follow him with my eyes while my mind is telling me that I forgot that Maze didn't know what happened too.

"Are you just gonna stand there?"

Natauhan lang ako nang magsalita siya pagkatapos niyang umupo sa sofa at tumingin saakin, he held his laugh when I just remained staring at him.

"What?" He started to unpack the foods that he has, "I asked your brother so I'm good here, okay?"

I blinked multiple times before I slowly closed the door before walking towards him and sat beside him on the couch, I just watched him until he unpacked all of the foods.

"Are you eating well?"

"Huh?" Both of my brows arouse when he suddenly asked me again.

Pinagpagan niya ang mga kamay niya bago tumingin saakin, "Are you eating well? I hope it's not just eggs and noodles these past 7 days."
