Noah's POV:
"How far is the hospital?"
I followed Maze who's exiting the building where we met Lorraine earlier, right after she left, we stayed for a minute as he talk to his men on the phone.
"I don't know, but let's just go there faster." Maze wore his helmet.
Kinuha ko nalang ang susi ng kotse ko mula sa bulsa konat binuksan ang pinto ng sasakyan, I was about to enter my car when suddenly, I received an unknown call from my phone inside my pockets. Napatingin din ako kay Maze nang mag-ring din ang cellphone niya, he quickly removed his helmet and answer his phone.
Hindi ko nalang siya pinansin at agad na kinuha ang cellphone ko, I stare at the screen where I see an unknown numner flashing through my phone screen. Ilang segundo ko 'yong tinitigan bago tuluyang sinagot ang tawag.
"Hello?" I said, half curious who's calling me.
"Noah, son. It's me. How have you been? Can you visit me in our home today? We need to talk for a bit, I promise that it won't take long."
I was taken aback a bit when I heard his voice, I went silent for seconds to process my head from what's happening.
Why the hell is he calling me for?
Although I wanted to reject it, I don't have any choice but to be a responsible son. I'll just give him some few minutes and I'll leave soon, I need to visit Jury to make sure if he's doing good in the hospital.
"... Only for 5 minutes." Pagkatapos noon ay agad kong pinatay ang tawag, I blew aloud breath before putting my phonw inside my pocket again. I looked at Maze when I caught him scratching his nape, it looks like he just ended his call too.
He looked at me while there's a hesitation written on his face.
"I think you need to go to the hospital first -"
"I think I might go there late -"
I frowned when both of us spoke at the same time, I rolled my eyes when the words that he said finally came to my mind.
"I'm meeting Dad, can you just cancel whatever you're gonna do? There should be someone who will take care of Jury except for Chanel." I said in a bored tone.
"I'm meeting my friend, plus, he's Jury's friend. Baka hindi pa nila alam ang nangyari kay Jury, we don't want them to be worried."
I stared at him, I groaned in annoyance afterwards.
"Bilisan mo, I'll just catch up." Pumasok na ako sa loob ng sasakyan at agad na binuhay ang makina at pinaandar paalis ang kotse, I didn't waste a time to look back at him using the mirror.
"What's up with him this time?" I asked myself as I head down to our original house - the house that I stayed before.
It's two towns away from this place, It's a good thing that I brought my other car with me. It'll take me ages to get there if I use a ordinary car.
As I drive in the middle of the road, Jury began to enter my mind. I couldn't help but to sigh heavily. Magka-ayos lang kami kahapon pero what happened now? He's lying on the hospital bed and it's my fault that he's in that state.
Igrip my hands on the steering wheel. That fucking Gideon, I'm gonna kill him. I'll hunt him down tonight, I'm not even talking shits. I'll do all I can to catch him tonight.
Me and Maze already talked about it, I just need a perfect time, and it's after talking to that old man and visiting Jury at the hospital to secure his safety before I vanish to hunt down Gideon and whoever the hell helped him to make a move.
