Shattered #28: The End Of It All

Jury's POV:

I was woken up by the sound of dripping sound of a water near me, unti-unti kong minulat ang mga mata ko at pinilit na ibangon ang sarili ko.

I frowned when I noticed that I'm in a slight dark room, marumi ang sahig at may mga sirang mga gamit sa gilid. The dripping sound of the water is still being heard by my ears.

The last thing I remembered was I was beaten up near the café, Chanel helped me out but they're too strong for the two of us. After that... Wala na akong naalala pa.

Where am I?

I tried to stand slowly and when I'm already on my feet, I blew a loud breath and closed my eyes for a bit.

Nang buksan ko ulit ang mga mata ki ay dumako 'yon sa may bukas na pinto, my brows frowned and my eyes widen a bit when I saw a silhouette resting its shoulder on the door frame while crossing its arms.

"M... May I know where am I?" Hinawakan ko ang braso ko nang makaramdam ako ng kirot doon.

The person didn't talk nor moved, nakasandal lamang siya sa may pintuan habang nakaharap saakin.

I tried to speak again, "Hello -"

"Hello, Jury."

Natigilan ako nang may magsalita sa may likuran ko, I quickly turn around and was welcomed by another silhouette but although I couldn't see the person clearly, his voice is familiar to me.

And when I thought of that person, my eyes widen.

"Gideon? -"

I quickly drop on the ground when something hit my head, sa sobrang lakas no'n ay agad akong nawalan ng malay.

"Ngh..." I suddenly woke up again, I don't know how long I was unconscious but my head is still aching a bit.

I slowly sat down on the ground, I'm sure I'm still at the same room. Nawala na si Gideon, I didn't even expect that he'll hit me suddenly on the head. Sobrang bilis ng pangyayari.

I crunch my nose as I massage my head lightly.

"You're finally awake."

Napahinto ako sa pag-masahe sa ulo ko nang may magsalita sa may bandang likuran ko. Agad ko siyang hinarap at kung hindi ako nagkakamali, siya pa rin ang tao na nakita kong nakasandal sa may pintuan kanina.

I stared at him in silence when he started to walk towards me. Even though it's not visible from my face, I'm shitless scared and nervous at the same time. Who knows who's this and what place they took me in.

I press my lips together when he kneeled his one knee on the floor to face me better, nang tumama ang kaunting liwanag sa may mukha niya ay doon ko lang nakita ang itsyura niya.

He looks like a businessman, a plain busy looking businessman who's wearing a business suit. Walang emosyon na nakatapal sa mukha niya habang nakatingin saakin, nang maramdaman ko ang awkwardness dahil tahimik lang siyang nakatingin saakin ay umiwas na ako ng tingin.

"I guess this is your final destination."

I looked at him again with confusion this time, I wanted to agree with the words that he just said but the look on his face says otherwise. He doesn't look like he's interested to do whatever they wanted to do with me.

"Where am I?" Kapagkuwang tanong ko.

He stared at me for a moment before standing up, pinapagan niya ang damit niya bago nagsalita.

"Apologies, Mr. Kang, but we don't share the name of this location to anyone... Especially to a stranger."

I frowned, "Then why bother taking me? And how did you know my name?"
