"And then you kick the duffel. Got it?" Michael raises an eyebrow, gesturing to the bag in Christian's arms.
"Yep" Christian nods.
They were filming the boiler room scene that day so Michael was just giving out a few extra directions with how to act in the scene.
"Put your hands to your head" Winona narrows her eyes at him.
"You didn't say Simon says" He smirks at her, then knocks the prop gun out of her hands.
They move the camera to a different perspective and then Christian slightly tugs on Winona's hair then holds her head as he pretends to knee her in the face.
Michael insists on doing the scene a couple more times, but it did not hurt Winona one bit.
After they move on to the next part of the scene, Christian pulls her aside.
"Hey, um I didn't hurt you or anything when I held your head or anything right?"
"Oh no, no nope not at all I'm fine" She smiles.

After Winona got her special effects make-up done for their filming on the school steps scene, She came back into the makeup trailer after an hour.
"Christian! Michael needs us on set soon. Are you done yet?" She said as she stepped into the trailer.
"I'm here!" Christian replied.
Winona gasps when she sees him getting the fake bomb strapped to his torso.
"Oh my god! Your make-up looks so real!"
"I know right" He chuckles, looking at her. "You don't look too bad yourself"
"Oh please! It's nothing compared to yours" She scoffs, crossing her arms jokingly.
"Setting spray. Close your eyes" Ken orders, holding up the setting spray up to his face.
He closes his eyes and they spray it on his face. Christian opens his eyes and his gaze travels to Winona's eyes "Look at this scratch right here" He gently traces over the big gash on her right cheek.
She smiles and blushes "It looks so real, Right?"
"Yeah"
Christian gets his make-up done and they drive over to John Adams middle school where the steps were.
"Hi kids!" Denise greets them as they got out of the car.
"Hi Denise" They say in unison.
"Alright, Let's go they're set up already" Denise gestures for them to walk with her to the school steps.
The two teenagers follow her and get positioned for the shot.
"Action!"
Winona walks out the door and the shot focuses on her. After on cue, Christian walks out after her. "Color me impressed" This was already about the 3rd or 4th time they repeated this shot.
She turns her head back and acts surprised.
"You uh- really fucked me up pretty bad, Veronica." Christian walked down the steps, limping and clutching his stomach.
"You um- you got power" He chuckled "And uh--" Christian blinked a couple of times "And I forgot the rest of the line from there, but it'd be really awesome if I could remember it" He chuckled. Winona chuckles and sighs jokingly as they restart it again.
They film the same scene and dialogue in different perspectives.
The other shot after that was of JD's back as he held his arms up in the air, but as Michael and the crew set it up, Christian was on the field and Winona was up on the steps.
The camera started rolling as Christian and Winona had a silly moment since they felt like they were standing there for hours.
Christian breaks out a few dance moves in front of the camera and Winona follows his lead doing the running man and waving her hands in the air, from afar.
After JD blew up, They had a short photoshoot in their special effects make-up, right before the shot with Veronica's close up.

"Okay now can you guys get a little bit closer?" John, the photographer gestured.
"Like this?" Christian asks.
"Yea okay, Christian go lean closer to Winona"
He leans closer.
"Perfect!" John beams as he snaps the photo.

After a few more photos, John asks for a closer shot "And then, Winona you go put your hand right below Christian's jaw right here" John gestures and smirks behind the camera.
Winona purses her lips and her heartbeat slightly increases as she nervously places her right hand below his jaw while Christian watches and exhales then looks down at her and gives her a reassuring grin.
She smiles back at him and relaxes a bit more then turns back to the camera.
"These two are adorable" John mutters and chuckles as he snaps the photos.
