On an early Sunday morning, Christian and Winona decided to go to Santa Monica boardwalk for Cricket's daily walk.
"Noni, where'd you put Cricket's leash?" Christian bent down to Cricket and asked Winona who was in the bedroom, grabbing something.
"It's in the cabinet by the TV console" She replied.
Christian found the leash and attached it to Cricket's collar.
"I got your cap for you" Winona smiled, walking out of the room and handing it to him.
"And I also have a bandana for Cricket" She giggled and crouched down to her. Winona wraps it around her collar.
They both left to go to the boardwalk with Cricket shortly after.
As they drove there, Cricket had her head out the window with her tongue out the whole ride. They parked at the lot by the beach.
A few minutes later, Christian and Winona were walking cricket at the beach sidewalk.
"I didn't really get him, But when he finished trash talking him, Geoffrey walked into there and I'm pretty sure that he was so embarrassed" Christian chortled.
Winona chuckles and continues walking Cricket. Little while later, A friend group consisted of a couple girls and guys came up to them.
"Hi!" One of the girls beamed.
"Hello!" The guy next to her said excitedly. Their other friends were a couple feet away spectating them from afar.
"Hi" Christian and Winona said in unison, smiling at the two.
"We're really big fans" One of them gushed.
"Could you sign these please?" The other asked, holding out some markers and a few photos.
"Sure" Winona nodded politely.
"Alright" Christian replied.

"Thank you!" They both squealed.
"By the way, you two are just the best couple ever."
"Yea, I think so too, I just bought the Seventeen magazine yesterday, I have every single magazine with you guys on the cover of it"
"And also a bunch of posters with both of you from teen beat!"
"Well, Thank you" Winona thanked them, Christian nodded along.
"Thank you again!" The two fans said for the last time and walked away.
Winona and Christian continued to walk down the beach sidewalk.
For breakfast, The pair decided to go to an outdoor beachside café near the boardwalk.
While eating, Cricket was acting rather off and Winona noticed it.
"Does Cricket seem off to you?" She spoke, looking at Cricket who was staring out into the kids playing by the shore.
"Hm?" Christian looked up, following her gaze. "Huh, She does. Should we take her to the vet tomorrow? Clinic's not open until Monday" (plot twist, cricket is pregnant :o)
"Yea, maybe we should" Winona nodded.

Later that night, back at home. Winona and Christian were getting ready for bed.
Cricket was moping at the foot of the bed.
"Cricket girl, What's wrong?' Christian asked, picking her up a placing her in between him and Winona as he got in bed.
"What's wrong with her?" Winona asked herself, frowning and petting Cricket.
"Well, Goodnight" Christian exhaled, watching Cricket jump off the bed and to her dog bed in the corner.
The next day, the found out that Cricket had passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Winona and Christian were devastated of course, but glad that she passed away peacefully of old age and with them.
