The day after the Pump up the volume movie premiere, Christian was scheduled to guest on the David Letterman show at NBC Studios.
"Slater and Ryder are rumored to be a couple, but neither has confirmed of their relationship" Winona reads the article on the Newspaper about the premiere last night with a huge smile on her face.
Christian listens to her while he got some touching up makeup put on him.
"Fans are hoping for all the sayings to be true." She finishes the article with a chuckle.
"Are they true?" He playfully gasps. "Do you actually wanna like- make our relationship public someday? What if David asks me a question about us, my publicist warned me" Christian continues, with a more serious tone now.
"I'm ready if you're ready" Winona beams.
"Well then I guess it's time" He shrugs gladly.

"Our next guest is a popular young actor, who has starred in such movies as Heathers also Young Guns two" David started to talk and introduce Christian while he was backstage with Winona and waiting for his cue.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, here's Christian Slater"
The audience cheered as he walked out into the spotlight. He waves and continues to walk over to David.
Christian shakes his hand and sits on the blue armchair.
"Nice to meet you" David greets him.
"Nice to meet you" Christian replies.
"How you doin?"
"I'm very good"
"And I understand we're very close to an important day in your life" David says.
"Ah, Yes yes the old birthday"
"Yeah, When will it be and how old are you?"
"August eighteenth, and I'm twenty right now but I will be twenty one"
"You're gonna be twenty one so this is like a big big landmark event for you"
"This is this is but uh I've already done sort of landmark deals"
"How will this one be celebrated?"
"I think this one will be quiet and it's gonna be home. You know I'm just gonna have a nice little mellow time with the people I'm closest with"
David continues to ask him questions and Christian gladly answers.
"Well, How's your love life? Because for the past year you've been seen a lot together with your Heathers co-star Winona Ryder" David asks. Everybody in the audience 'ooohs' and they all cheer.
Christian laughs as he continues while everyone was still cheering "You were actually with her at your movie premiere yesterday. Is there anything between you two?"
Christian smiles sweetly then after everybody quiets down for a while he answers "Yea, Actually. We've been going out for quite some time now. She's the love of my life"
Suddenly, the audience erupts with cheers and claps again. It goes on for another few minutes while David was flabbergasted "Wait really? You've been dating this whole time?" He asks, the camera pointed to him and Christian.
"Uh yeah" Christian chuckled.
"Well, Congratulations I'm happy for both of you! Ladies and Gentlemen there you go! Happy happy birthday to you pleasure to meet you." David shakes his hand once again.
"Thank you very much"
"Good Luck with the film, Christian. Christian Slater, Ladies and Gentlemen We'll be right back!" David finishes up the segment
