Winona and Christian took at least a week to find a great apartment that suited them both. And a few days to settle the paperwork.
That Saturday, was the day they were both moving in, their families came to help them move in.
Winona was alone with her mom in the bedroom, unpacking some clothes.
Mary Jo and Ryan was unpacking in the kitchen.
Christian, Mike, Will, and Winona's brother Uri, was moving the couch upstairs.
"I'm so happy for you, Honey" Cindy wraps Winona in a big hug. Pausing from folding up some messy clothes.
"Thank you mom" She smiles.
"You and Christian seem really happy. Me and your Dad can tell"
"We really are"
"Moving in with your boyfriend is a really big deal." Cindy pulls away from the hug and meets eyes with her. "I hate that we have to move back to San Francisco" Cindy jokes and frowns playfully.
Winona chuckles at her joke and they both continue unpacking the clothes.
"Speaking of which, have you talked about.. marriage yet?" Cindy shrugs, keeping her gaze at the clothes she was folding.
Winona nearly chokes on the juice she was in the middle of drinking. "Mom!" She coughs.
"Babe!" Christian shouts from the front door, He was carrying the couch with Mike, Will and Uri.
"Yea?" Winona yelled back, places down the juice bottle and walks out the bedroom and out the short corridor to the living room.
"Where do you want the couch?" He asks her.
"Oh! Just over here next to the window" She makes her way across the living room, gesturing to the empty space next to the window.
A few hours later, everybody leaves after most of the boxes and furniture was moved in.
After a quick take out dinner, The pair got ready for bed in their apartment.
"Can you believe we actually live together now?" Christian crawls into the bed with her.
"So far, It's incredible" Winona exhaled with ease.
