On a peaceful saturday afternoon, Christian and Winona decided to go to the beach since they were free that day.

The beach was surprisingly mostly empty considering it was the weekend and only a few people were there. The pair set their stuff away from a less crowded spot by the shore on some lounge chairs.

After a while Christian took off his shirt and went ahead, walked into the waves.

"Come on, Noni!" He shouted over his shoulder.

Winona chuckled then untied the sarong she had wrapped around her waist, set it on the sun chair and went in after him. He stopped where the water was up to his calfs.

She finally caught up behind him and hugged him from behind. Tip-toeing a bit so she could peer her head over his shoulder while they stared out into the horizon.

Christian put his hands over hers and Winona planted a soft kiss on his shoulder.

He turned his head back a bit and kissed her temple.

They both hung by the water for a while when they got tired and decided to rest back by the lounge chairs.

Winona and Christian were both laying down on one of the chairs, she was between his legs leaning back on his chest as she read the book and he was reading along, playing with her hair.

Suddenly, she shuts her book and Christian spoke up "Hey, I was still reading" He jokingly frowned.

"Aw, I'm sorry I didn't know you were" She laughed, rather amused and looking up at him.

Minutes later, they were in the middle of a conversation while they were sat across from each other

"One thing I definitely remember having from my childhood is owning a pet rock" Winona nodded.

"Oh! So did I!" Christian exclaimed.

"Really? Ooh! What did you name it?"

"Something like.." He pondered. "Friedrich or Fred. Because I just watched The Sound of Music at the time and I thought Friedrich was cool" Christian smiled.

"That's adorable"

"What was the name of yours?"

"Hold on, I cant remember" She looked up, trying to remember what she named her pet rock. "I think it was Anastasia" She nods. "I really liked that name apparently"

"Very Lovely"

"And fancy aswell"

Eventually, The pair decided that they wanted to go buy some food at the pier at the beach so they gathered their things and walked over to the wooden dock.

The Ice cream stand caught their eye so they bought two ice cream cones from the nice vendor.

They walked away from the ice cream stand and leaned on the railing by the edge of the pier.

Winona soon notices that Christian had some ice cream on his lip. She wipes the excess ice cream of the edge of his mouth which made his cheeks turn a light shade of pink.

"Do I still make Christian Slater blush?" Winona noticed, grinning widely and slightly teasing him.

"Only you can ever make me fluster like that" He smiled.

"I'm very lucky" She giggled as she put her empty hand around his neck and he slithered his arm around her waist, kissing each other.
