"She's met you before, don't worry" Christian smiles, rubbing her back.

Winona smiles back gratefully and Christian rings the doorbell of his mom's house at a quiet neighborhood in Los Angeles.

Mary Jo opens the door and a smile forms on her face "Christian! How are you, honey?" She hugs him and then faces Winona and chuckles, also giving her a hug "Winona, long time no see dear!

"Come in! We've made food" Mary Jo gestures for them to walk further inside.

They follow her inside and walk into the dining room where the open concept kitchen was connected to.

There was another man, cooking at the stove and he turns around greeting Christian, "Ah! Christian, how are you?"

"Doing good, Will" Christian grins back. "Winona, this is my mom's boyfriend Will" He gestures to him.

"Nice to meet you, sir" She politely smiles at Will.

"Nice to meet you too, Winona" Will replies, smiling then turning back to the stove.

"Come here kids, sit" Mary gestures to the two seats beside each other at the 6 seater round dining table.

They followed her instructions and both sat in the seats.

"Ryan! Time for dinner, we have guests!" Mary Jo walks over and shouts from the bottom of the stairs.

"Hope you two like beef stroganoff" Will chuckles, placing the plate at the middle of the table.

Ryan comes down the stairs "Oh hi Christian" He smiles as he greets him, sitting on the other empty chair beside Christian.

"Hey, Ryan" He greets him back ruffling his hair.

"Who's she?" Ryan asks still smiling.

"This my girlfriend Winona" Christian replies.

"Ryan. I've heard lots about you" She waves slightly with a grin on her face.

"That's a pretty name" He gushes.

"Thank you, I think yours is quite great too" Winona smiles back.

Everyone starts eating together soon after.

"So how long have you two made it finally official?" Mary asks playfully, sipping her water.

"Heh, Since filming wrapped up back in May" Winona answers.

"I always knew there was something between you two" Mary teases. "See, they were shooting a movie together back in April" She explains to Will.

"Oh yes, I remember you saying something about Christian off to shoot a movie back then." He nods then turns to both of them. "So when does it come out?"

"We don't know yet, actually. But probably sometime next year?" Christian replies, turning to Winona to see if she knows.

"Yep probably" She nods along.

The topic changes and continue talking while they eat their dinner.

"Winona. like the state in Minnesota?" Will asks.

"I was born there" She grins.

"Did you also grow up in Minnesota?" Mary questions.

"Well, we moved to San Francisco short after I was born so that is where I would normally consider home"

"Ryan, didn't you watch that Tim burton movie? Beetlejuice? She plays Lydia" Christian says.

Ryan mouth opens "That was you? I love that movie! I didn't know" He gasps.

"I probably I look different now" Winona chuckles.

"How has filming that skating movie been, Christian?"

"Pretty good, Everybody's nice"

"How about you Winona? do you have another movie to film too?"

"Mhm, In September"

After they finish dinner, Winona and Christian leave and say goodbye to them.

Christian drops Winona off at her house.

His car was in stopped in neutral at the side of the road, Christian gets out of his seat the rushes to the other car door, opening it and letting Winona get out the car.

He smiles at her as they look at each other "So.."

"So.." She smiles back.

"Goodnight"

"Goodnight"

Silence befalls between them again while they stare at each other, smiling stupidly. With the moonlight shining bright.

"I love you" Winona spoke.

"I love you too" Christian said gladly.

They smile widely at each other and lean in to share a sweet kiss.

They pull away "I'll see you, tommorow" Christian whispers.

"See you" She whispers back. Winona turns around, slowly walking away going up the steps to her front door.

She reaches the front door and turns back around and waves at him. He waves back, then she quietly unlocks the front door and enters the house.

Winona closes the door behind her and leans back to it, she squeals in audibly as a blush creeps on her face.

Meanwhile, Christian watches her get into the house and a gigantic smile emerges from face, punching the air in delight. He got back in the car and drove away.

idrk what to say hahah lets see what can i say OH ive been listening to a bunch of songs from the sound of music movie soundtrack (1965) and that is mostly what ive been doing plus watching emily in paris its kinda cool i guess sorta cringy but tolerable so yep

"i love you" thats sweet :) isnt this chapter sweet :}
