Today is the day my best friend arrives. After breakfast we decided to do some shopping by the airport until it was time to pick up the couple from the airport. As of now it's 1pm and Gavin has swiped his card in every store, I secretly think he likes shopping more than Chloe, and she's a shopaholic. "I'm gonna go get a book from the bookstore" I tell him as he continues to look around the sports store, honestly this store bores me. "Ok baby, I'll be here when you get back then we can head to the airport" he says as he presses a kiss to my forehead before turning back tot he magazines. The bookstore is a couple stores from the sporting one so I shouldn't be longer than about 30 minutes, hopefully I can find a good book. Stepping out of the store and the cold air blows my hair from my high ponytail with strays flying in my face. I pull the jacket closer to my body and the scarf tighter around my neck as I make my way to the bookstore. Walking in the bookstore, the smell of old pages fills my nostrils, I love that smell. I could sit with a thick book in front of the fireplace, bundled up and a hot cocoa in my hand and you'd never hear a peep out of me. I see an older woman behind the desk, as I approach it she looks up from her newspaper and with a small smile she asks "How may I help you, dear?" Smiling back at her, I ask her where I could find the romance novels, she points to the back right isles, thanking her with a nod, I make my way to the back. Running my fingers along the spines of the books, I come across one that looks interesting, reading the back for a detail about it, I read it's about a prince who falls in love with a simple girl but of course there's problems when his psycho ex comes back to town to claim him. Oh if this doesn't sound like half of my life except Amy wasn't an ex just ex fling. I'm getting this one for sure. Walking back to the front to check out, I see Gavin standing there with a worried look on his face, quickening my pace to him he looks up at me with a sigh of relief he wraps me in his arms. "Baby, why didn't you answer your phone? You've been gone for over 45 minutes I was getting worried" oh drats, I took a little longer than I thought I would, I was too busy reading the covers trying to pick a good book. I smile at him sheepishly "I'm sorry, I guess I got lost in the books and I have my phone on silent. We are in a library of sorts" I tell him. Smiling down at me, I know I'm forgiven when a kiss is brushed on my cheek. "Ok, my nerd hurry up and get your book we have two best friends to get soon" he says as he turns to the lady at the desk who witnessed our interaction. Oh my god, feeling embarrassed I stuff my reddened face into his jacket and groan. "Nothing better than seeing true love you work in a bookstore" she says with s light chuckle. We're now standing in the arrival gate area waiting for Rhys and Chloe to get here. Their plane landed 15 minutes ago so they should be making there way to the baggage claim area where we are soon. Being so short is not a fun thing to be right now when there are so many people here and you can't see over a lot of them. That's my problem right now, but Gavin found a solution for me, stand on a chair in the middle of the airport. Why not! Seeing Chloe's famous lime green beanie I got her two Christmas' ago walking towards us I squeal as I jump off the chair and make my way to her. Her eyes are searching as they land on me running towards her she throws her bag to Rhys, I didn't see beside her and takes off for me. I open my arms and she jumps in them and wraps her legs around my waist as I wrap my arms around her frame so she doesn't fall. "Oh B, I missed you so much" she screams in my ear, "I missed you too Clo" I say right back to her. Squeezing her once more, she slides down my body as Gavin and Rhys give each other a bro hug, "I'm so excited, I planned us a spa day and the guys a sports day" I say with a wink to Chloe. Turning to face the guys I pull the tickets out of my jacket pocket and gave one to Gavin and one to Rhys, "What's this?" They both asks instantly. "This is a gift for both of ya'll when we go to the spa" looking at the tickets thoroughly both of their eyes widen as they read. Smirking, I turn to Chloe who has a similar smirk. Grabbing her hand I start to pull her along, leaving the guys still standing there shocked, "Come on guys, you don't want to be late" I tease, still walking. I look over my shoulder and see they are finally making their way towards the door. Chloe and I start laughing at them as we see Tony waiting a few cars a back from the entrance. Climbing in the car where the heat is in full blast, the guys enter the car and both are still in shock, "How did you get these, when did you get these?" Rhys asks ask Gavin nods his head at his questions. "Ok, first of all you both need to calm down, second I got them about 3 months ago with my 4th paycheck when I booked this trip. I wanted each of us to have something to do with each other and I'm pretty sure ya'll don't want to go to the spa with us, right?" They both shake their heads no, "Ok, so the plan for today is you two will go to the sports signing and Chloe and I will go to the spa. But first we go to our hotel to freshen up, our spa appointment is at 5 and your signing is at 6, afterwards we can all meet back at the hotel and get dinner. How does that sound?" I ask, knowing they will agree, "Angel, I can't believe you did all of this" he slings his arm over my shoulder and tucks me into his side as we make our way to the hotel. "I have a surprise for you later" he whispers in my ear so the others can't hear him, I shudder at his words, knowing just what surprise he has will be sexual is turning me on.
The guys took a cab to Fenway Park, saying how we should have Tony and they don't want us to hail a cab, where's the fun not that. I want a true New York experience and hailing a cab or riding the subway is one of the things I will be doing before we leave. So as Tony drives us to the spa I've booked for us I explain to Chloe just what it entails. "Ok, so first is the seaweed wrap or mud bath then deep tissue massage and the steam room. Now we do 't have to do it all if you don't want to but it's there for you to choose. I asked for the open package meaning we can choose ourselves instead of what is in the packages only" I tell her as we pull up to the spa. She lets out a very high pitched squeal as she takes my hand and drags me into the spa. Waving at Tony as he shuts the door I holler back over my shoulder, "I'll call you when we're almost done" he waves back with a nod as he rounds the car to the driver side. Chloe chose the seaweed wrap and I chose the mud bath. I've always wanted to try this. Sitting there listening to the zen music is relaxing, I'm so glad we came here, I hope the guys are enjoying themselves. After a 15 min bath, it was time for my massage. We both chose a deep tissue massage, my masseuse was a man, he was fit to say the least. His lights brown hair was cut into a short hairstyle, his dark brown eyes shine in the dim light and his arms had muscles that screamed military. As I lay there he began to work out the knots in my shoulders. After awhile we began to talk, I learned his name is Alex 28, an ex marine who loves to work with his hands. Did he ever, I feel like I'm a new person without all the tension in my back, he worked wonders on me. Chloe had a female, she didn't want a male, her name was Beth and she's been a masseuse for 5 years and came to New York to be with her lover, who came here to be a chef. It's crazy how you can tell your whole life story to a stranger, I guess because you know you'll never see them again. Feeling rejuvenated we both had more energy that we knew what to do with, so after calling Tony and heading back to the hotel we made a pit stop to the store for some late night goodies for after dinner. It's now 7:30pm and we just got back to the hotel, the guys texting saying they were on their way so we headed up to the room to out up the snacks and get ready for dinner.
