Bryn Holy shit!! We're engaged, I'm getting married in five months. I never thought this would happen, no guy has looked at me remotely the way Gavin does. I mean yeah I've had one boyfriend and look how that turned out, but with Gavin it's like I knew we were meant to be together the moment we met. I'm so happy, I literally haven't stopped smiling since I got home. Chloe is staying the night with me since she doesn't start school until Wednesday, so the whole day we've been back we've been making my dream wedding story board. Gavin said no expense will be spared we are only getting married once so might as well go all out, but I really don;t want anything huge. Just a small wedding in his backyard with our family and friends is perfect. The only thing he requested of me was to go all out on the wedding dress, if we can't find one at the store he will have it made. So Chloe and I have an appointment this weekend to shop around for dresses, I have a couple in mind that I thing will look good with my figure. I want his mouth to drop open when he sees me. My color theme is a soft peach color to go with the springtime and my flower is the orchid, the flower from our first date.

We spent all day going over every dress and every bridesmaids dress to make sure we chose the right one. Since it's only gonna be Lee, Erica and Crystal as my bridesmaids and Chloe my maid of honor of course, the dress we chose would look great with all their body types. Preparations for dinner tomorrow night are made and Chloe will be joining us before she heads back home, I'm gonna need her support to get through that dinner. Speaking of dinner its almost 6 now and I have to start dinner before dad gets home. Chloe and I head to the kitchen to get started on some burgers for dinner, she makes this special sauce that my family absolutely loves with our burgers. As she's making the sauce I grill up the burgers and put the fries in the oven. All of a sudden I get a whiff of her sauce but instead if it smelling wonderful as always I get nauseous, I run to the bathroom to let out the contents of my stomach. I groan as I hover the toilet, I think I'm coming down with something. I might have caught something in New York, I've been feeling sick and getting nauseous over the weirdest smells lately. After washing my mouth out and washing my hands I return to the kitchen to find Chloe finishing up the burgers. "Hey, are you ok?" She asks me as I take a seat at the table. "I'm not sure, I think I caught something there. I've been feeling sick lately" I tell her. I look up at her and her face shows concern with something else, "What?" I ask. "Umm, do you think you could be pregnant? When's the last time you've had your period?" She asks as she sits across from me and takes my hands into hers. Thinking about when my last period was and come to think of it, it's been about a month since I had one. My eyes snap to hers as I start to worry. What if I am? Would Gavin still want tot be with me, still want to marry me? Would he want a baby? "Hey, calm down" she says as she squeezes my hands. I didn't even realize I was breathing so hard. "Take deep breathes fro me ok. How about I go get you a test and you finish up dinner, how does that sound?"I nod my head at her as my mind is still reeling over the possibility.
Twenty minutes later the food is done and Chloe returns from the store with three tests hidden in her purse as she glances at me and nods her head in the direction of the bathroom. I get up to follow her when I see headlights pull into the driveway, dad's home. Oh god, what am I gonna do? Ok, deep breathes I tell me self as I inhale and exhale. I put on a big smile as he walks through the door, "Daddy!" I scream as I run into his arms. "Oh, hey my baby girl. How was your trip?" "It was great! I got you something" I say as I loosen my hold and run to get his souvenirs. "Wow, these are great, thank you" he says as he kisses the top of my head. "So, dinner is ready but I have to talk to Chloe really fast and I'll be in there so you go ahead and eat" I say to him as I push him into the kitchen and I head to the bathroom. "Ok, how many did you get? What do they say?" I ask her nervously. "It says to pee on the end and wait 3 minutes. If there is two lines it's positive" she hands me the tests and goes to talk with my dad real fast while I do my business. After peeing in all three I set them on the counter and Call Chloe back into the bathroom to wait with me. "I'm so nervous. What if I am? Do you think Gavin would leave me?" I say as I start pacing the bathroom trying to not think about the tests. "Hey, that man is crazy for you, an dit takes two to tango so it's just as much as his responsibility too" she tries to reason with me. Nodding my head, I look at her and she grabs my head as we make our way to the tests. I take a deep breathe and close my eyes before looking down. POSITIVE. All three are positive. I'm pregnant. I'm pregnant and getting married in 5 months. Holy shit!!! "Oh B, how are you feeling? Are you happy, sad, mad?" Laughing at my situation has me thinking of my future as it flashes before me. I am so happy! I'm getting married to the man I love and now we're gonna have a baby. "I'm so happy" I say as tears start flowing down my face. I grab her and wrap her in for a hug, "Oh, I'm so happy for you B." "Hey, will you help me make Gavin a little gift to tell him before the dinner tomorrow?" I ask her wiping away my tears with my sleeve. "Of course, come on let's eat then we can get started on it."
