*third person*
Theo and Scott.
Scott and Theo.
Theo and Scott were friends.
Theo left.
Scott forgot.
Theo was manipulated and killed him.
Scott didn't trust him.
Theo fell in love with his beta.
Scott saw a different side to him.
Scott thought he was crazy, until he meet Theo's Liam.
He met the Theo side that loved Liam.
The one that looked Liam in the eyes and said I love you.
The one that held Liam back when he was angry.
The one that came to pack nights even though Stiles was there.
Even though Stiles hated Theo and talked about him into Lydia's ear.
Then Malia would yell at the both of them.
Tell Stiles to shut up and Lydia to stop entertaining him.
She would roll her eyes at Malia.
Which was never a good idea.
Malia would tilt her head, and lean closer to Lydia.
Lydia would back up, and walk away from Stiles.
Then Scott and Stiles stopped talking.
Stiles thought it was stupid to let Theo into pack nights.
Scott knew that's what he would say.
But then he said something about Liam.
"Liam's dumb for getting with Theo."
"Liam always has the worst ideas."
"Liam needs to get the fuck out of my face befor-"
And that's where Scott stopped him.
Scott put his hand into the air, tilted his head.
And shoved Stiles out the door.
"It's always Liam this, Theo this. Find something new to talk about. Shut the fuck up."
Malia smiled cutely and closed the door in his face.
Scott came to Theo for help.
Theo told him to be straight with him.
Scott told his "best friend" what he was feeling.
His "best friend" nodded his head and said all the right things.
But he didn't feel, he didn't try.
So Scott and Theo hung out.
They bothered Liam late at night.
They prank called Liam.
They sat in the backyard.
Phones in hand, editing pictures of each other.
Dumb pictures to have Liam rate which was better.
Even with Scott in college.
They talked
all the time.
But with Theo sitting next to his boyfriend.
Still no change, waiting for Deaton just to show up.
There was a knock on the door.
Theo was half asleep, he could smell Scott before he saw him.
"Hey T."
"Hey Scott."
"How's Liam?"
"Same."
Scott sighed and sat next to him.
He leaned over and grabbed Liam's hand.
"God, of course this would happen to you."
Theo looked at Scott and laughed a little.
Theo looked at his boyfriend and decided to join Scott in his teasing.
"Only you would get drunk. Do the responsible thing to walk home and get hit."
Scott laughed softly, and leaned back into the chair.
"Hey you want to get something to eat?"
Scott questions, Theo really wants to say no.
"I don't know if I can leave."
Theo had literally not left the room for a week.
In the beginning he would go to the cafeteria or walk around, but now.
Now he can't even leave the room.
"T if you don't want to that's fine."
Theo shakes his head, standing up.
"I want to go, I do."
He leaned over and kissed Liam's forehead.
"I love you, I'll be back."
Theo looked back at Scott.
The person that had become his best friend.
Besides Maila and Kira, Scott actually liked him.
He liked Liam and Theo.
He liked the idea that his beta had someone to take care of him.
That's the only reason Scott would go to college.
Because he knew, he knew.
Theo would never leave his side.
He would protect Liam with his life.
But he also needed to take care of himself.
Not just the occasional shower.
"Scott why are you here?"
"Exams just finished."
Theo's eyes widened, it was already June.
"How long have I been sitting in that hospital room?"
"Uh, Liam was admitted last month. You started staying around two weeks ago."
Theo leaned his head against the wall.
Fuck.
"Fuck, fuck, what the fuck?"
Theo and Scott would always be Theo and Scott.
Scott always looking after Theo.
Theo always standing up for Scott.
Them protecting Liam.
Them.
Scott and Theo.
Theo and Scott.
Best friends that needed each other right now.
