"Bye T!"

"Bye, say hi to Mason for me."

Liam nods even though Theo can't see him.

He reaches for the stress ball in his pocket.

When Mason pulls up, Liam hops into the front seat.

Liam hadn't driven since the accident.

And Theo wouldn't let him even start his car.

But his car was his home at one point.

It had always been the one thing there for him.

So Liam didn't mention it.

Mason hugs Liam.

Moving to the passenger seat.

Liam pulls the seat back.

Mason always drove way too close to the wheel.

"Theo says hi," Liam mentions as he backs out of the apartment parking lot.

"I miss him."

Mason laughs before continuing.

"I used to see him all the time. Corey loved seeing Theo. He would drag me out of school. Yelling saying we had to get to Theo."

Liam smiles at the mention of his best friend's boyfriend pulling him around to see Theo.

"Yeah I know he misses you too. Last Friday he checked his phone almost a hundred times."

Liam stops at a light, glancing at Mason.

"I was so confused and honestly it was getting annoying. He said it was Friday. That's it, he said it like I was supposed to know. Then he finally got a text. From Corey and his eyes lit up and he had this dumb smile on his face."

Mason and Liam laugh, rolling their eyes.

"I wish they got to see more of each other."

Mason whispers.

Liam nods in agreement.

He pulls up to the townhouse.

"Thank you, Mason. For letting me drive."

Mason smiles and puts his hand on Liam's shoulder.

"For you? Always."

They both get out, hugging once more before Liam walked into the building.

Mason looked down at his phone.

A text from Theo.

"You guys get there ok?"

Mason smiles, of course, Theo was going to text him.

"Yeah, he just went inside.

"Ok good. See you later and tell Corey to answer me."

Mason gets into his car.

Meanwhile, Scott is in his living room.

Having a not-so-fun conversation.

"Take my brother's name out of your fucking mouth."

"I'm not talking bad about Liam! I fucking love that kid, Isaac. Just get the fuck off my back."

Scott flicks his hand in the air.

He loved Liam.

But he had seen Theo at his worst.
