Your POV:
I woke up and my nose picked up a new yet familiar sent. The room I was in smelled like fresh leaves and.... tofu? I opened my eyes completely and saw that I was lying in a bed. Someone's bed. For a moment I was just lying on my back staring at the ceiling but when I turned to look to my left I saw a small nightstand with a plate of what seemed like mortal food on it. It was tofu. Almond tofu to be more precise. I never had an interest in mortal food because I can't taste anything when it comes to normal food. The only thing I can taste is blood. I haven't told anybody, the only one who knows other than me is Rex Lapis. Every once in a while I need to drink blood from something or someone. The blood from people tastes better but it's not likely that someone would give me their blood willingly. The blood from animals also doesn't satisfy my hunger as well as blood from people. If I drink blood from animals I have to drink more often. That is also why I have fangs. I am the only Yaksha with fangs.
And you might be asking yourself: 'but why would you need blood? All the other Yakshas don't need blood!' the other Yakshas do not need blood, no. As for the reason why I need blood is a little more complicated, I'll spare you from the details. Here is the short version: I need blood because it keeps me sane. If I don't get blood at least once every two weeks, I start to act weird every time I see blood. I cannot die because I stop drinking blood, it will just get harder for me to control myself around it. Oh, and one more thing, I can drink blood from any kind of creature.

When I had eaten the almond tofu I stepped out of the bed. I was not wearing my clothes anymore I was just wearing my underwear and a lot of bandages. Looking at the bandages I then remembered what had happened yesterday. I'll have to thank the person who treated my wounds later. I looked around the room and spotted my clothes hanging off a chair. It looked like they had been cleaned and sown. All the rips and tears were gone and so was all the dirt and grease. I quickly slipped my clothes on and then I looked around the room one last time before I left. When I opened the door I was looking at a massive branch from a tree. I was sure I was high up I looked around and spotted a balcony beneath me. I hopped down and observed the view. It was quite astonishing to look at. Very beautiful indeed. When I looked closer I noticed that I was at Wangshu Inn. I could see the mortals beneath me. They were doing the exact same things as last time I had seen them here.
I have now been back in this world for exactly 13 days..

Alatus/Xiao POV:
After I had tended to [A/N] 's injuries I had left them to themselves. Afterall I did have a duty calling for me. If I'm being honest I actually didn't want to leave but I had to. Just before I was going to leave I had the kitchen make some almond tofu, my personal favorite. I placed it on the nightstand.
And then I left.

I had just gotten back and [Y/N] was the first thing on my mind. I teleported to my room. I saw that their clothes were gone and they had eaten the almond tofu.
But they were nowhere in sight. Where could they have gone? It's fine, it can't be that hard to find a Yaksha in Wangshu Inn. Unless they had already left? No, why would they do that.
I had to find them.
