Your POV:

A day had passed. I was usually good at tracking someone but this person with Alatus kept confusing me. They had almost no sent, unlike Xiao who smelled like fresh qingxin flowers and sea breezes, their sent was muted and weak like they had never been in contact with anything. Who exactly was this person?

I want to know.

The aura lead me to a place around Lingju Pass. I didn't really care where I ended up I just wanted to find Alatus. I kept on following Xiao's sent and eventually found myself in-

....What!?!

Alatus/Xiao POV:

Was that a mistake?

I walked through the portal and entered an odd looking domain..... I think? I'm not sure, some of the platforms were upside down and others sideways. It looked as if the domain had been corrupted somehow. I don't know. 

I feel lost. What am I supposed to do? 

No, I can't give up. I need to get back. Back to everyone, back to [Y/- to my duty. I walked farther into the domain. There were pathways to the other platforms, you just had to activate them. 

There were quite a few demons. They were stronger than the others on the surface.  Hillichurls, Mitachurls, Slimes, regular monsters but they were as strong as a fatui agent. 

What happened to this place? Why is it like this?

After defeating all the monsters I found myself in front of another portal, matching to the one I had seen before. Without a second thought I walked through it.
