"Christopher, Siya ang Ama mo." mahinang aniya nito dahilan upang mabingi ako sa kinauupuan ko.

Dahan dahan akong napatingin roon sa pinakilalang totoo kong Ama at Kapansin-pansin ang emosyong kumakawala sa mukha niya. Napatikham pa ito at ngumiti sa akin.

"Can I embrace my daughter?" he said, and I shook my head, but I managed to nod, and he hugged me... My father hugged me tightly, and I could feel the warmth of his embrace.

Even though a part of me is broken, I feel like the parts have returned to their right places.

After a few seconds of stillness, he turned to face my mother and said, 'Thank you.'

"How is my grandchild?" he inquired. His smile was still on his face, but as he saw me weeping up again, his smile faded and I felt my Mother's hand squeezing my hand.

"He lied, Tito--"

"Call me Daddy or Papa," he added, and I nodded with joy in my heart.

Hindi dahil masaya ako dahil sa balita tungkol kay Keanu at sa babae kundi dahil sa binitawang salita ng Ama mula sa bibig niya.

"He lied to me, Dad. He's now engaged." napayuko ako at ramdam ko ang pagpatak ng mga luha ko.

"I'm sorry for breaking the promises. I know I have no right to say this, but you need to hear it. Fritzie... If a man truly loves you, he'll do everything, he'll risk his life no matter what happens, even if it costs him his life. A man who can protect and fight for you has the right to be with you." he gently squeezed my shoulder.

"And I don't deserve your Mother's affection," he chuckled faintly. "I was the one who broke the promises, that's why, but God knows how much I love her." He looked at my Mother.

"If you truly love her, why did you break the promises you promised to her?" Tears begin to stream down my cheeks.

He genuinely loved my mother, but why did he do things that would cause her pain?

"I-I have to..." He closes his eyes, attempting not to cry.

"I have to do things that will cause her pain, even if it means killing myself. It's either I'll give her pain or someone else will give her trauma. In order to save her, I have to break up with her."

Maybe Keanu has a reason? But what if he doesn't have a reason? That will be an unvalidation excuse, Fritzie. Fritzie, you're just delusory! Put him out of your mind! But...

But I still need to know what his reason is, that's all! When I've already heard his reasoning in front of me, I should understand whether or not it will damage me.

"Keanu!" I called his name as he opened his door, but I was startled when a lovely woman opened the door while holding a pregnancy test in her other hand.

Natulala ako sa hinahawakan niyang pregnancy test. Ngayon alam ko na ang dahilan kung bakit. Keanu... He cheated on me.

"Oh, I know you. You're my Fiance's friend?!" Napangiti ako ng mapakla at napaiwas ng tingin sa kanya.

"By the way I'm Veronica."

I'm just Keanu's friend?

"Why don't you come inside?" she said as she drew my wrist inside Keanu's condo. "He's not here yet, but I think he'll be here in a minute; he just bought me my favorite lasagna." She smiled warmly at me and placed the Pregnancy test on the table.

Napangiti ako ng mapait sa kinakatayuan habang nakatingin sa PT.

"U-ugh... Why are you suddenly crying?" she asked, glancing at what I was looking at.

"I'm just happy for H-him... For both of you," I lied.

"Love?" lalo akong nangatal sa kinatatayuan ko ng marinig ang boses ng lalaking matagal ko ng kinasasabikang makita at marinig ang boses.

Nakatalikod ako at nakarinig ako ng pagbagsak ng isang bagay sa floor. "Lasagna ko!" ngumuso si Veronica.

"I'll buy you another lasagna." sa pananalita palang ay alam ko ng wala itong reaksiyon sa mukha.

Nagpaalam na kanina si Veronica sa amin at tanging dalawa na lang kami ang narito sa loob ng condo ni Keanu.

"Why are you here?" he asks coldly.

"Why didn't you answer my calls?" I fought back, his hard gaze still fixed on me. I gave him a slight grin and took a deep breath.

"You're engaged," I sarcastically laughed. "Fritzie..."

"Call me love," I said desperately, trying not to break my voice, but my voice betrayed me.

"We're done." napatigil ako at nabingi sa kawalan.

"Tapos na tayo." pag-ulit niya pero umiling ako at tumingin sa mga mata niya pero nilabanan niya iyon.

"Dahil ba nabuntis ko siya?" basag na boses na tanong ko pero hindi ito nakasagot. "Sinungaling! I hate you fucking cheater!" hinampas ko ng palit-ulit ang dibdib niya pero hinahayaan niya lang nagawin ko iyon sa kanya.

"Did you really love me?" I said, hoping for a yes, but he didn't. He looks at me coldly and then opens his mouth.

"I never loved you, Fritzie; I only loved what you gave me pleasure." My heart pounded. "I only use you," he stated emphatically.

"You must not leave me!"

"We're done, Fritzie! Please leave me alone! I can't love a poor lady like you! I can't love a woman whose father is a criminal!" He said that made me pause.

"G-Ganyan ba talaga ang tingin mo sa akin?" tinalikuran ako nito pero agad ding tumigil ng magsalitang muli ako.

"B-buntis ako, Keanu." hikbi ko. Ramdam kong bumaling ito sa akin na kahit mugto ang mga mata'y kumuha ako ng lakas ng loob para tingalain siya.

"That's not mine."

"Anong sa tingin mo sa akin? Pokpok?! Keanu ikaw lang ang nakatalikan ko at wala ng iba! My responsibilidad ka sa akin at sa anak mo!"

"I'm sure I'm not the only one that fucks you," he said, moving his gaze from my foot to my head.
