The sounds of waves are so soothing.
As I close my eyes, the wind brings in some fresh air.

When my grandmother and I are both here, I like to reminisce about the memories I have with her.

I'm comforted by the hug she gave me.
The gentle kisses she gave my cheeks,
The sound of children running and playing.

"I miss you, Lola." I mumbled as tears streamed down my cheeks.

I smiled as I remembered when no one wanted to play with me in this place, so my Lola did, and I was running away from her just to hide while hearing my name called.

Then I heard a kid yelling. My brow furrowed, I look around, but the voice is coming from the water.

My eyes widened when I saw a child drowning, and I was the only one who noticed him. "Heeeellllllpppp!" yelled a boy, who was drowning into the water and began swimming to find him.

I swim into the deep to find him and take him, but as soon as I got him to the seashore, I felt a hard thing hit my back and saw a red in the water.

"Bata! Gising!" I yelled, panicking because I didn't know what to do. "Tulong!" I shouted again, hoping that someone would hear me, and then I noticed a couple running in our direction.

"Son!" they yelled, and they began first aid on the boy while the mother sobbed.

"What happened?" she asked, looking at me, and I replied innocently. "N-nakita ko po siyang nalulunod Doon." I pointed where the kid drown but she yelled at me and I was shocked. "Liar!"

"Stop blaming the kid, it's our fault!" her husband said, and I felt heat in my eyes as I saw Lola approaching. "Jusko ka, Fritzie!" Lola hugged me as soon as my tears began to fall, and she noticed my bruise on my back and the blood streaming down.

I wiped my tears and look at the guy who called.

"What's wrong baby?" malambing kong aniya. She was about to cry when she called out, "Mommy." "What is it, hmm?" I asked, clutching her cheeks.

"Can I go to school, Mi?" she pouted, and I looked at Mama, who simply smiled. "You're not allowed to go to school yet, Anak," I said softly.

"But why is my cousin going to school? Am I not allowed? Are girls not allowed?" she pouted cutely.

"Ma'am, this is the direction to the CEO's office," said a woman, and I followed her. "Hmm... Uhm, I'm sorry you wouldn't meet Sir Ze Dong, the CEO of the Yang group company," she explained.

"Could you please explain why?"

"He retired yesterday, Ma'am," she explained, to which I nodded. She led me the way, and everyone was whispering, 'She's lucky she'll work with the CEO for hours,' the women said, and my brow furrowed. When I entered the CEO's office, it was completely black.

At mayroon ring malaking Flat-screen roon.

"Sir, the new secretary has arrived," the woman said as she closed the door.

"Sir?" I asked myself, looking at the swivel chair as it turned around.

Slowly, I noticed black shoes with a black polo and pants. I noticed his masculine hands holding a glass of wine with ice.

Great, Kamukha niya iyong lalaking nanloko sa akin.

"Hi, Miss Madrid. I'm Yang Ze Dong, The CEO of Yang Group company." inilahad niya ang kamay na inabot ko naman. "I'm Fritzie Wren Madrid, Sir." paggalang ko sa matanda.

"Hmm... You look familiar, have we met?" he asked, his brow furrowed.

Ako po yung niloko ng anak niya at inanakan! "No, Sir. "Stacy,"

"Yes Sir?" nakangiting aniya nung tinawag na Stacy. "Could you please direct her to her office?" Sir Ze Dong asked, smiling. "Sure, Sir," Stacy says with a smile. "Shall we go?" she asked, nodding in response.
