"Kila Mama muna ako." mahina kong aniya habang nakangiti pero binalingan ako ng lalaki na nakangunot ang noo.
"No" agap nito at hinawakan ang palapulsuhan ko. "It's our daughter's special day, Keanu. Tsaka hindi naman nako kailangan dito." ngiti ko sa kanya pero umiling pa rin ito. "No, you'll stay here." napangunot ang noo ko.
"But—-"
"No buts, Fritzie."
"Why?"
"Because I'm going to introduce you too so that ladies will leave me alone," he reasoned while trying to calm himself. "We haven't gotten back together yet, so why are you stopping me?" I bit my lower lip.
"U-ugh, hey, what's wrong?" Tita Emily asked, trying to ease the tension between us. "Mom," Keanu said to his mother. "Yes, son?" Tita Emily smiled awkwardly.
"Can you sing here on stage?" Keanu asked, not looking away from my eyes.
"Yes, and why?"
"I'll just talk to this woman backstage."
"Sure" aniya pa nito bago pa man ako hilahin ng lalaki papunta sa backstage malapit na sa dressing room.
"Keanu..." mahina kong usal at tumigil. Biglang bumilis ang pagtibok ng puso ko at para bang sasabog na ng wala sa oras. Malalim itong bumuntong hininga bago pakawalan ang palapulsuhan ko at pinag-krus ang dalawang kamay at tinitigan ako.
"We're not still yet back together?" he muttered quietly, and I swallowed hard while staring at him.
"Ahmm...y-yeah?" I said, awkwardly smiling at him.
"So, what do you call what happened to us in the hospital?" I coughed after he said those words, and my cheeks heated up!
"Sex?"
"Stop talking nonsense, Fritzie," he said solemnly.
"Sa tingin mo bakit ka narito ngayon?"
"I am Kiezhiea's Mother."
"When are you going to stop talking nonsense, woman?" napalunok ako at hindi alam ang sasabihin pero totoo naman kase ang sinabi ko!
Kaya ako narito ay dahil ako ang ina ni Kie. Narito ako para suportahan ang anak pero kase mukhang nagagalit na ang lalaking kaharap ko.
Nang binalingan ko ulit ito ay nagtiim na ang bagang niya kakahintay ng sagot ko. "Look, I want to be clear: after what happened to us at the hospital, do you think I'll let you go again?" He asked seriously.
"K-Keanu—-"
"I know you still love me; I can feel it." He took my hand and placed it on his chest, and I felt his heartbeat. It was as fast as mine.
"Gusto kong bigyan ng masayang pamilya ang anak natin. A-ayoko lumaki siya na hindi kumpleto ang pamilya." lumapit ito at hinawakan ang dalawang balikat ko at pinagdikit ang noo namin.
Rinig na rinig ko ang malalim na paghinga niya. "I want you to be part of my life, Fritzie."
"Mahal na mahal kita." parang nanghihinang aniya nito. "Please allow me to introduce my two precious women to the public, and I want the media to be aware of it." He grabs my cheeks and leans in for a kiss.
"I'm sorry." mahina kong usal pagkatapos madampian ang labi. Ngumiti ito at bumaba ang kamay niya sa palad ko at hinigpitan ang pagkakahawak roon.
Napatingin ako sa kamay namin at napangiti. "Let's go?" tanong nito na tinanguan ko bago kami bumalik sa stage at kinuha ng lalaki ang microphone sa MC. Napatingin pa ako kay Kie na nakatingin sa aming inosente.
Lumapit ito sa akin at hinawakan ang kamay ko. "Mommy..." tawag niyo dahilan upang napangiti ako.
"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting, but thank you for coming." Keanu smiled and looked at us.
"I'm here to introduce to all of you this two beautiful precious woman, Kiezhiea," he called, referring to our daughter.
Lumapit ang anak ko sa kanyang ama at hinawakan naman ni Keanu ang maliit na kamay ng anak namin. "This is my daughter, Kiezhiea."
"Actually, I had no idea we had a daughter," he laughed. "Akalain niyo yun ang nag-iisang anak ng YGC ay tinaguan ng anak." aniya nito dahilan upang tumawa lahat ng nanonood sa kanya at pabiro ko namang inirapan ang lalaki.
"But it wasn't her fault; I'm to blame." narinig ko pa ang iba na nagsabing 'aww' na para bang nato-touch sila sa pagkwekwento ng lalaki.
"But I won't waste this time because if I tell you the whole story, maybe the other visitors are now eating breakfast at their house," he joked.
Tumawa naman ang mga nakikinig. He looked at me with a smile after introducing our daughter. Pinantayan pa niya ang anak niya at may sinabi tsaka tinuro ang magulang niya na sinundan naman ni Kie.
"Tapos na?" mahina kong aniya pero hawak pa rin niya ang mic. "Not yet." ngisi niya. "Ehh?"
"Hi Fritzie," he said into the microphone, and my eyes widened. Nakangisi pa rin ito habang nakatutok sa amin ang camera.
"Nakakahiya." I mouthed.
"This is Fritzie Wren Madrid," he chuckled as he mentioned my whole name, our hands intertwined. "I thought she was already married because her surname was Garcia before," he said, locking his gaze on me. "I didn't know where she was because she ran after knowing I was fix-marriage with Veronica." He looked at Veronica, who was now laughing.
"I really don't know what to do after so many years of not seeing her, even her social media she deleted, that's why I went back to China," he laughed.
"He wants to move on." I heard Tito Ze Dong laughed.
Kinuwento niya rin ang dahilan kung bakit ako lumayo at nakita ko ang mga nakikinig na tumulo ang luha.
"I won't stay here long to tell you the story because I wanted you to witness this special night," he said as he knelt on the ground. I was too stunned to speak while staring at him, who was smiling the entire time.
"Fritzie Wren Madrid, I want you to know that I love you," he said before turning to face the audience. "And to the audience, I want you all to see how much I love this woman in front of me," he said, smiling as he looked me in the eyes again.
"I love everything about her, the way she looks, the way she dresses, the way she talks to me rude and soft, I love all of her personalities." He even gave our daughter Kie a glance. "I also adore our daughter; they say she resembles her father, but I see Fritzie's resemblance to our child," he chuckled.
"Of course, now that I have these two, I won't forget my first love, Hi Mom!" I look at his Mom, who is now laughing while I am standing in front of him, and I am at a loss for words.
I'm stunned, but tears are streaming down my cheeks. I am flooded with emotion. "Fritzie," he said again, taking a small box from his pocket.
Napatakip pa ako sa bunganga, gustong gusto kong magsalita ngunit ni maliit na salita lang ay hindi ko mabuka ang bunganga.
"I Keanu Zavien Yang, kneeling in front of you, my love, Fritzie Wren Madrid, Will you marry me?" he asked, filled with hope and love.
Emosyonal pa akong napatingin sa magulang ko na tinanguan naman ako habang nakangiti. Binalingan ko rin ang anak ko na ngayon ay abot tenga ang ngiti. "Say YES, Mommy!" magiliw na sigaw nito habang pinapanood siya ng parents ni Keanu.
Binalik ko ang paningin sa lalaki at emosyonal na ngumiti bago tumango. "Y-yes!" napatayo ang lalaki sa saya.
"Yes?" tumango ako habang siya nama'y puno ng saya ang mukha.
"Yes!" sinuot niya sa daliri ko ang singsing na saktong-sakto lang sa daliri ko. Dinampian rin ako nito ng halik at binuhat!
"Keanu! Ibaba mo ako, nakakahiya..."
"I love you, love."
"I love you as well."
"I miss you," he said, and I laughed, teasing him.
