"Ningningie? Are you awake? We brought some drinks and snacks, all we need to do is decide on a movie now." Giselle knocks on the bedroom a couple of times and presses her ears against its cool surface. However once she doesn't get a response for nearly two minutes, a frown forms on her face.
Her girlfriend had been taking a lot of naps recently, and Giselle didn't think much of it apart from wanting to rest from the hectics schedules. But now over time, it became nearly a routine𑁋all the members would come back to the dorm, yet Ningning would head into her room, saying something about a much-needed nap, and wouldn't come out until a few hours or so later.
The company had given them some time to rest for a while, and Ningning would continue to conceal herself in the comfort of their shared bedroom. And now, Giselle can feel her worry levels nearly at its peak.
"Is everything alright?" Karina's voice startles Giselle out of her thoughts. The leader glances at the closed door for a moment, before returning back to Giselle. "Is she still not coming out? I thought Minjeong was in there too."
"I'm right here!" Winter suddenly appears out of nowhere, making the other two membrs face her with skepticism.
Giselle releases a sigh, walking back into the living area with the others following. "I-I'm getting worried about her. She hasn't been herself lately𑁋she'd be late to eat with the rest of us, she'd stay in her room for hours, and I... I just..."
"Is there anything we can do to help?" Karina asks, placing a comforting hand on Giselle shoulder.
Giselle shakes her head, crossing her arms together with hopeful determination. "I'm going to try and talk to her in there. If we don't come out then just.." She glances towards the TV. "...we can have a movie night another time."
Karina and Winter exchange a saddened look before giving an understanding nod as Giselle heads back to the closed bedroom. Wrapping a hand arond the doorknob, she lets out a deep breath before slowly opening the door. She immediately notices the darkness of the room, as if her own eyes were closed as well.
However as she angles her head, she notices the very faint glow of a lamp turned on its lowest setting on her girlfriend's side of the bed. The sheets were completely pulled over the body on the bed, and as Giselle neared, she could hear the quietest sounds of shaky breathing.
