"In just a minute, Sooyoung!"
"Okay, hurry up! The Uber it outside and I don't want to come in your room to drag you by your hair again!"
Rolling your eyes to your best friend's words, you peer at yourself in the mirror, eyes closely grazing over the formal outfit you had put effort into. It was a rare occurrence to dress like this, minaly because going to fancy restaurants was such a once-in-a-lifetime event for you. But after some long convincing of your roommates of two years (now best friend), you agreed to go out and take a look at the world for once.
Sooyoung hadn't really told you much about this expensive restaurant she had found from the depths of the interweb, other than the fact that it was expensive. But due to how recently busy university life had been for you, going out felt somewhat... foreign, to say the least. You'd rather stay home under the comfort of your covers, but at least you had a friend to burst you out of your bubble once in a while.
The thing is: it wasn't always Sooyoung who would drag you out of the comfort of your shell. Before enrolling into university𑁋at perhaps the part of your life where you had been the happiest, but also the saddest𑁋there was one person who you always looked forward to seeing every day, even if it was just their popping up on your phone.
Suddenly, your head fills with all those memories you made with her, feeling a large wave overtaking you in an instant: when you asked her out, the first kiss, the first 'I love you', the first promise... and the last date, the last kiss, the last 'I love you', and the broken promise.
However even just thinking abou ther still makes you blush. But as its appearance grows, it quickly fades away the moment you think about that moment𑁋the moment where she had suddenly lost contact with you, and left you with a single, heartbreaking message with barely an explanation that she had decided to go on her separate way from you. You remembered feeling so devastated at the time from trying to think of the endless possibilities of what went wrong, but couldn't think of anything.
Yet how can two people have so many memories together and create this healthy relationship, but walk in a different direction just a snap? And with barely an explanation? It left you on edge for months, and to this day, you still haven't gotten an answer. You can't even contact her; it was as if she left your life like that.
