Hey, I noticed you looked
a bit down in class today.
Here's a piece of chocolate
to make it a tiny bit better?
-

That was the letter that started it all.

It all had started from the day you had to have a bad morning that your 'normal' behaviour had been clouded with irritation, and that someone else has noticed. And now, you found yourself having everyday conversations with whomever was putting these letters in your desk each passing day, followed by a piece of Hershey's kisses.

I hoped whatever had happened
will pass, you deserve to be happy!
Just know that you can talk to me,
alright? I'm here for you!

Fighting, Y/N!

The connection you had with this mysterious penpal felt different. They were understanding, reassuring, and you just adored the way they make you feel from each exchange. To put it to simple terms, they make you feel happy𑁋a lot more happier than anyone else can. They just seem to have a beautiful mind that keeps your interest up in them, and you just have to know who they are.

I'm really sorry your parents were
being like that. Sometimes they don't
understand.

But just be yourself, okay? Don't
overthink or worry, and don't
forget to take care of yourself!

Keep smiling!

Crap, is it a bad time to admit that you may have the tiniest hint of a crush on this person?

The excitement had gotten to you when you had entered in through the school doors along with a few late students all scurrying to get to their classes. You live a bit far from school, so you normally arrive a bit later than usual; you still end up making it to class, somehow.

Once you arrive into your assigned homeroom, you place yourself down in your seat which was located in the back of the classroom, closest to the door, while ignoring the faded calls from your friends from all the way across the room. Dropping your backpack down onto the floor, you look around the room for a moment to see if someone would catch you gaze, perhaps hoping to figure out who had been sending you these letters and chocolate.
