You were invited along for a Christmas party at (G)-IDLE's form, as you had been very close friends with Miyeon way before her debut. When Miyeon de buted, she introduced you to all of her members and you were able to get very close with all of them, and were invited to attend their concerts, fansigns, and private celebrations after each successful comeback.
However, as your relationship with the other members grew, so does your feelings...
...more specifically towards the group's maknae, Yeh Shuhua.
It was hard to determine why you had suddenly growning feelings for this girl, but you couldn't help yourself from afar every time you watched her dance effortlessly, her unique voice when she sings, or her quirky personality that she expresses, especially with her comical humour that you adored.. It just grew on you, and you hadn't been able let to go ever since.
A simple crush is what you believed at first, however, that was completely ruled out one night when you were invited for a sleepover where you and Shuhua had been kicked out as a joke and into another room for being too loud and being annoying, despite the two of you having fun yourselves.
Her closeness and warmth radiated on you when she was cuddled up against you that night, and you listened to her soft breathing as she clung up to you, her arm comfortably around her waist. That was a night that kept you up thinking whether or not your little crush on the maknae can be something... beyond that.
Little did you know that Shuhua may have also been awake as well.
Yet it's always apparent that Shuhua loves being close with Soojin and pesters Miyeon, always being a lively and sometimes a crackhead around group territory. However, when it comes to you, she seems a bit more reserved, cautious, more calm than usual, and always gives you those eyes to tell you she's listening.
Moving on𑁋the Christmas party. You were incredibly excited when Miyeon had forwarded you the details, followed by a spam of emojis that filled up your notifications. Miyeon had never been that excited through text to invite you to a simple Christmas party, however you just rolled your eyes as you began to plan an outfit and what to bring.
As you approach their dorm, you feel your heart begin to race𑁋what if you see Shuhua? How will you act around her? How in the world will this potentially tortuous night of bottling up your feelings end?
You fiddle with your reindeer headband nervously as you knock on the door before even beginning to think about the possibly consequences of seeing Shuhua. You quickly put on a smile as you hear the locks on the other side of th edoor being messed with, some footsteps approach as it opens slowly.
