"Honey, where are you?" You hear the voice of your girlfriend, Bae Joohyun, call from the living room of your home, assuming she just got home from work. From hearing a voice, a smile easily finds its way on your face as you aimlessly continue to wash dishes. That is, until you hear the woman exclaim, "Aish! It's raining so hard outside!"
"I'm in the kitchen!" You loudly call back to her as you finish stacking the dishes to try before wiping your hands off on a towel. As the faucet turns off, the drowning of the storm outside quickly takes over the entire place, with some sudden adrenaline kicking in your system as you knew your girlfriend wasn't exactly fond of that kind of weather.
You emerge out of the kitchen and into the dim living room, seeing your girlfriend placing her belongings on top of the dining room. It makes you smile from spotting her, slowly approaching her from behind before wrapping both of your arms around her waist.
It makes her jump from surprirse from the embrace, a surprised yelp leaving her mouth which makes you laugh out loudly. You absolutely loved seeing Joohyun's scared face each time you got the opportunity to scare her; no matter if she was prepared or not, she still ends up getting scared.
"AHH! You little𑁋" Joohyun pouts, attempting to shove you off her, yet you still have a tight grip around her waist as she turns around her face you. Her face softens from meeting your eyes. "You're lucky that I love you, you idiot. You would have been in your grave long ago if you didn't take me out on that date that night."
You scoff teasingly, leaning in close so your breath graazed against the skin of her neck. "Yeah, the date that change our lives forever, right?"
Joohyun shakes her head. "Yeah, now I gotta deal with you now." She faces away you, yet you still notice the lingering smile on her face.
After a few moments, you finally let go of her, but you notice that the clothing she was wearing appeared damp. As you look down at yourself, you notice your own clothing was significantly dampened as well. And upon looking up to inspect your girlfriend's perfect side-profile, you notice that her beautiful long, dark hair is drenched too.
You frown. "Did you forget to bring an umbrella to work today?"
Joohyun sighs softly, placing a pair of frustrated hands to her hips. "I didn't know it was supposed to be storming today! It was perfectly sunny this morning too. The weather can be so strange these days."
You just chuckle, bringing your hand up to wipe away some of the dripping rain water than ran down her face. "How about this, you can go take a warm shower, then you can come here and we can watch a movie together to get through the night?"
