A light nudge at your side stirs you awake, a low groaning leaving your lips as your eyes struggle to open. After a minute, the touch leaves and a pair of footsteps fade away, which makes you drift back to sleep. However, after another minutes, a sudden jump of the bed finally forces your eyess open. With your visition still slightly blurry while adjusting the sudden brightness of the room, a yawn escapes your mouth as the tired state of your body slowly growing conscious.
Then a loud voice coming from your gilfriend speaks up, her voice seemingly echoing throughout your head, "Babe! Wake up, please!'
"Wh... What..." Only muffled words leave your mouth as a pair of hands shake you to reality.
"Get up! We need to get out right now, it's an emergency!"
"Can the emergency wait𑁋"
"It's the first snow! It's snowing outside! Look how pretty it is!"
Still floating between sleep and reality, some hands grips onto yours before you find yourself being practically dragged out of bed and towards the chilled window of the bedroom. As your eyes still adjust, and your face almost close enough to the window to feel the coldness at the tip of your nose, your eyes grow wide to see the outside of your home completely covered in a beautiful white blanket of snow.
You press your hand against the window. "Woah... it's so pretty."
"Can we go outside? Pleaseee?" Chaeyoung's whiny voice pops in as you turn to the side to finally get the first glance of her.
Her cheeks were out as she held those patient, yet impatient puppy eyes in your direction, which only make yelt inside. You roll your eyes and give her a defeated smile, bringing a hand up to caress some of her dyed blonde hair out of her bare face.
"Okay, okay, let's go play in the snow." You say,
Chaeyoung's eyes light up with excitement as she presses a quick kiss to your cheek.
"Come on, let's go bundle up!" And her hand lands in yours, the two of you dashing out of the bedroom and retrieve some warm clothing.
After zipping up your coat, you glance to see Chaeyoung strugglnig with the zipper to her large puffer jacket that stretches all the way down to her knees. She looked even more adorable in the piece of clothing, and it makes you chuckle as you approach to help her. She gives you a cheeky smile in return.
Now that you were fully awake, you could definitely see why Chaeyoung was excited to see the first snow. Even though it was the first snow of the year, it would be the first snow the two of you have seen together. You've been in a relationship with her for seven months, which doesn't seem that long, yet you can't help but notice how much Chaeyoung's presence really affects you. She would be your first serious relationship, and you overthink sometimes on how to be perfect for her. Because how was it possible that you managed to make Park Chaeyoung your girlfriend?
