The space between us

Jungkook's POV:

I was stupid enough to let my temper rule over me. I am not expecting him to have feelings for another person. But I should be prepared for this. I promised to earn his trust and his love, and yet I let my jealousy consume me.

Jimin's POV:

I hate that there is a space between us. But be patient, treat him with kindness, shower him with care, and let him feel your love, just like what my mom used to say. I hope he will give me a chance to be his.

Jungkook's POV:

It is hard to fight a battle when you do not know your opponent. It is enough for me to know that there is someone in his heart that is not me? Business contracts are easier to deal with than matters of the heart. Should I apologize for my harsh behavior? I ruined the mood because of my jealousy.

Jimin's POV:

I am ready to give myself to him, knowing he doesn't love me? Will that be enough for me? Should I be bold enough to ask him for cuddles? Just for tonight? The question is will he be a willing participant?

Jungkook's POV:

It is now or never. I will apologize. One, two, three...

Jimin's POV:

Something bothers him. I will comfort him. One, two, three...

They are both startled that they turn to face each other simultaneously. JK was the first to recover.

"I am sorry for my rude behavior a while ago. Something messed with my thoughts. I didn't mean to end our game abruptly. Can you forgive me?"

"There is nothing to forgive, JK. I mean, there was no harm done. Are you sure you are ok?"

"Y-yes."

"You are somewhat bothered. I know a good way to ease someone, it was old fashioned.  But it works all the time."

"R-really? What could that be?"

"Cuddles, but only if you like."

"I like it very much," JK answered and opened his arms wide.

Jimin quietly thanked his lucky star and went directly to Jungkook's arms.

After some time, the couple let their tired bodies rest and slept like they did not want to let each other go.
