Lost in the crowd of passengers boarding the Battle Subway in the evening rush hour, you feel lonely.

Something is lost.

As soon as you set foot inside the car, everyone has already vanished.

The lights are turned off.

You are only lit by the dim sways of sun rays through the aquarium glass.

The car is jolting, so you are holding the handle before sitting on a nearby bench.

Before your eyes, the rich marine life made of Water-type Pokémon

Floating and swimming and diving happily

Without worries

For your eyes only.

Behind you, something casts its shadow upon you. You turn around, and...

A big Alomomola is passing calmly, shaking its fins and watching you with a mysterious smile.

You place the palm of your hand against the window, but the Pokémon ignores you and swims away.

"Hi, (Name). I am Emmet. It is good to see you."

Emmet is sitting next to you.

"Hey, Emmet. How are you?"

"Relatively good, when I think that we're currently twenty thousand miles under the sea."

"Is this real?"

"Of course not, silly. You are dreaming with me. You are inside the Battle Subway, but the windows look like fish tanks."

He chuckles and takes a relaxed pose, putting his hands behind his head and crossing his legs.

"That looks very nice, though! I am going to steal that idea from you. I wonder if these are actually filled with all the tears we have been shedding."

"Are we alone?"

"Seems so. Oh... Did you mean..."

"I wish Mister Ingo were here too."

"Yeah. Me too."

You sit properly and keep talking:

"Emmet. Is your brother seeing anyone?"

"Yes, he does! Every day! He sees people every day! That is our line of job."

He laughs and pats your hand, which is resting on your knees.

"I am pulling your leg. What good would it do to you if I told you that he was seeing someone else but you? If not you, that information wouldn't be of much help to you. You'd probably feel depressed. I, Emmet, don't want to see you sad, because you are my friend."

His hand is softly squeezing yours.

You notice that there are less and less Pokémon present.

"(Name), do you remember how much I miss my brother? Although he is not here by my side any more, alternatively, it is not too late for you to confess your feelings to him."

"Isn't that selfish? Let's go home first. We'll figure out the rest later."

"That is what you've been telling me for the last two years I've known you. If you don't say anything, Ingo may never return your feelings."

Tears uncontrollably roll down your cheeks.

"It will be okay, (Name). You took care of me when I was at my lowest point. Now, it is my turn to comfort you."

Emmet hugs you and strokes your back with affection.

"There. There."

"I'm so sorry I left you alone, Emmet."
