Adora's mind was foggy. Her eyes stared at the ground while walking into the castle's halls. She was ready to talk to Light Spinner since she knew that it wouldn't make any difference if she was the one telling her the bad news. She looked up at her from afar and she took a deep breath, trying to remain as professional and calm as she could.

"Queen Light Spinner.. I bring bad and good news..."

The woman walked closer. She didn't bow. She didn't feel the need to do so rather than just bowing her head quickly and looking up at her woman who furrowed her eyebrows. The girl looked up at her, then away. She didn't feel good. She felt like slowly her power and will to tell the truth was sliding away while glancing at this woman's purple eyes. "Princess Catra is well. Her health is good and the prince..didn't survive...he was beating her up when I found her ...but I've learnt that she was carrying a child... I'm afraid the child didn't survive... that's what... the doctor actually said" The woman saw how her expression changed. She knew this was not what the queen wanted to hear but.. she really had no other choice. "The princess didn't want me to tell you... but please, your majesty. I couldn't hide it from you. She told me you wanted that child but please don't put the blame on her. The man was the one who caused all this.." Adora tried desperately to change the woman's thoughts into something more...friendly towards the feline and...well... her if she could. She didn't want to fight her future wife's mother.. She wanted peace and she would gain it now if she could.

The taller one glared at her. Her fists tightened and looked away while trying to prevent herself from killing the woman right now "I know well enough who's fault this is, now.. if you excuse me.." she hummed under her breath. Light Spinner walked towards the princess's room only to go in. Adora knew Catra was sleeping at the time but she could hear the older woman writing something down and soon walking away.

The knight quickly hid for the other to not see that she would enter the brunette's chamber. She held the paper which was on the desk to read what Light Spinner was planning now after the failure of having a child with the man. Her eyes widened after some words. She was going to take her away, again? All this fight was for.. nothing? The blonde couldn't even believe that even in this state, Light Spinner would take her with her back in the Horde. Her eyes looked at the woman who was sleeping and took a huge breath before she ripped the paper into pieces. "She won't take you away.. You're mine and that's final" She hissed.

The night went by with the knight being close to the pale feline. Her fingers brushed her curly hair and her eyes remained closed while trying to sleep. Early in the morning, before even the first light of the sun appeared, the warrior sat on the bed. Thanks to the herbs the doctor gave to the girl she didn't wake up and so the girl walked out of the room. She had fallen asleep with her light clothes on thankfully. She looked around the hallways of the palace when she spotted the queen of the Horde. The sorceress was sending her guard at the moment to help Catra wake up and called her maids as well to prepare the meds and the clothes for her. Adora walked quickly to the witch only to grit her teeth

"Why don't you let her here? I know you don't like me but trust me. The feelings are mutual.. I won the fight. I won her hand and I will bring honour to your daughter. Something that in the Horde I doubt you all have" She knew she was rude but...she didn't care. She wanted answers or at the very least... Catra to stay with her.

"You're not the one to tell me what I will do with my daughter. You better stay out of this, knight... I won't accept your victory even if it was a clean battle in the ring. I decide who she will marry —"

"and I'm here to fight and defeat them all" Adora stepped in front of her when the queen took a step to leave "I swear I won't let anyone touch her, especially if they are chosen by you..." She hissed "you clearly don't care about her loving someone but think of it from a different angle. If she marries me she won't only have the Horde to rule one day... she will have access to my grounds too... you will have it too" She hated to admit it but she had no more cards up her sleeve. She had to risk it all to not lose her.
