ChapterXXVI-Past can't be forgotten

"Hey, how do you feel?"

The knight looked at her and gave her a small smile.

The other one didn't want to worry Catra but she raised her hand to her stomach "I don't know...it's probably a cramp but... My stomach is aching..and I really don't know if the baby is okay or not" The girl looked away and sighed as she got more comfortable in bed.

The other girl knelt down beside her then, humming softly "well to be honest I don't know much about this.. but if anything is wrong.. nevermind" she put a hand on her stomach then, focusing only on her and her belly and her hand started to glow. She healed whatever may be wrong. Her eyebrows furrowed as she spoke again "it's weird healing myself.."

".... Yeah... Tell me more about it. I don't know if anyone else is a good healer... And..I don't trust doctors to touch me" Adora chuckled and rubbed the back of her head "You know..it's the difference between our worlds. That doctor the last time I came to the queen's palace was ready to poison Catra and... I don't want to risk it" She said as if she knew that the knight left Catra alone with the doctor and made her worry build again.

"She told me.. supposedly they didn't know but I.. I don't want to risk it. The doctor told me that there are apparently some wounds magic can't heal.. I kinda doubt that. I didn't want to leave her alone so I asked your wife to stay with her while I take care of you." She took a deep breath to calm herself before adding "I'm not sure how to really explain this but I can just.. feel what's wrong when I'm healing someone. I can feel the wounds closing themselves too. I guess that's so that the others don't have to. I'm.. not really feeling much for your baby but you have a lot of internal wounds I'm fixing up right now."

"It is...kind of complicated to be honest. Magic can't heal everything. I will agree on that... Even though I once made Catra come back to life.. even if that wasn't supposed to happen... I didn't even know I could do this but you know.... I couldn't lose her" The woman from the future spoke and took a soft breath only to calm down and smile at the other. "You can heal but deep wounds need time and energy to do so... Which you have for now.. at the end of the day you will see that you'll need a doctor's help. You can't do it all by yourself or your magic will take over you " She hummed and sighed with the news about her wounds "thanks.... "

The warrior sighed softly, looking at her for a moment before just turning her gaze back to her "even then magic can heal a lot more and a lot faster then they can." she ignored the last part then and just focused on healing her. If she can't help the people she cares about, then what is she supposed to do? How weak is she? She sighed softly. Her thoughts stray back to Catra. Her princess of course. She'll be okay physically. She knows she will. What she's worried about is how she'll be mentally. She's learned a long time ago that certain things can mess with people's heads so of course now she's worried about her wife and if she'll be the same. If not, how different will she be?

The other blonde noticed how deeply she was sinking into her thoughts and remained quiet. Her breathing was getting easier and lighter. She felt better than before. Her eyes closed to rest back as she now relaxed on the pillow behind her. "If..you want to talk I'm here ... We're the same person I know when you're getting worried or anxious" She smiled "I already feel better.." she continued but the girl shook her head

She just tried to turn her thoughts back to focusing on Adora "I'm fine. I don't want to talk about anything. I think the worst of the wounds are healed up now... I'll stay for a bit longer to be sure though." She clearly didn't want to talk though that was usual. She felt that..if she had to get help from others she was weak. She kept everything inside, preferring not to talk about anything and try to figure it out on her own instead.
