Catra took a seat beside her mother when the dinner was ready. Her eyes scanned the place for any sign of the warrior but she didn't see her anywhere yet. Her worried heart almost jumped out of her ribcage when she actually saw the woman walking inside with the other knight keeping her company. Angella stood up, raising up her glass and smiling brightly. She gave the best wishes to the winner, congratulating her for her victory. Catra couldn't stand up to go talk to her. Their eyes met while she was wishing they could get closer but they both had to remain in their positions. Adora thanked the queen with a slight bow and she sat down, looking away from the princess she loved. Her eyes noticed Catra's ears tensing up when they began playing music and smiled brightly at how much she wanted for her to be beside her and calm her down. Adora got comfortable in her seat and began to eat and drink. The princesses were chatting and giggling. All of them as well as the queens were having a great time yet Catra couldn't have fun. The thoughts of her mom making this fight look like an accident made her sick. She still noticed that her mother was kind of tense. It looked like she was not done yet with the knight. Her eyes looked at her and then at her plate.

After several minutes of music and songs the servants served them the dessert. The knights were all sitting together at the same side of the table. The woman beside Adora was just like her. Too rebellious to be a princess or a peasant. Her hair was bright blonde and her brown eyes looked at the other knight as she leaned playfully against her to poke on her shoulder.

"I see you've been staring at the princesses and princes. You've spotted anyone good lookin'?" She smirked teasingly and chuckled as she gave her a small smile while taking a bite of her cake. Adora looked over at the poke before laughing softly and nodding "Aye, I have. Though I have about as much of a chance as a snowflake has in hell... Her mother would never allow her to marry a knight. So... I have to admire from afar"

"You're somethin' else! A princess not even a prince— wow!" The girl laughed but Adora chuckled softly just nodding at her surprise. "Yeah, I am definitely an odd one, but it's normal in my kingdom. We have plenty of same sex marriages.. What about you? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has high hopes to look at a princess.. you can't be unseen in the field after all.. You're ruthless. I'd be scared to face you in the arena" she chuckled, taking a bite of her own before glancing at the other warrior who looked at the man beside Glimmer. A good looking prince who had red hair and was about several inches taller than them. Her eyes met his and then a small smile formed on her face "I've met my prince, to be honest he told his parents about me but I didn't have the guts to meet them yet.. I may be ruthless in the ring but ask me about nervousness in front of a prince" She joked and rested her head on her hand. Her eyes looked up at him and then at her "But... who knows. If we have to fight I won't give you a chance to stand up" She teased obviously making the other one grin

"That is if you can get me down at all. Now I'm quite looking forward to a good fight!" After a small pause of them chuckling the girl would continue "Anyway...That prince definitely seems to be good. One thing I'd suggest you though is making sure you learn who he is as a person... You don't want to dedicate yourself to someone you later find out you don't like."

"I think he's the one for me..you know what they say..love at first sight.... About the princess you are more than an honourable knight, Adora. I bet her mother will get convinced that you are a great person" she breathed out at first and continued to eat her dessert. "Thank you... I hope you find your happy ending.. You seem really sweet, you deserve it."

They both continued chatting about tomorrow's tournament, almost planning on their next fight and how they would both try their best so they could bring honour to the name of the ones they loved. After all, all the fights were dedicated to the princesses and the princes. Adora's eyes were fixed on her own plate when she emptied it before she noticed the other coughing. At first it didn't take her attention but this new friend of hers looked like she couldn't breathe. The light-blonde-haired girl felt a slight burning in her stomach. Her lips let out a silent cough and held a napkin against her lips. Her eyes though looked at it noticing that some blood got spit as she coughed. The girl wasn't soft to just panic only because of that but she got anxious when she felt her insides burn. A grunt escaped from her lips as the girl curled in her seat because of the unbelievable pain. The knight beside her heard her as well leaning to see what happened but he couldn't obviously know. He stood up quickly calling the queen so the music would stop and a doctor could come to check up on her. Meanwhile the girl's pain grew only bigger as her breaths became sharper. She felt like she got multiple stabs in her guts as blood rolled down her lips. Adora widened her eyes when she curled up standing up at about the time the other knight did. She helped her off the chair before she fell off of it. She knelt beside her as the professional looked her over, getting worried now as she watched her and touched her shoulder "Hey, hey, focus on me, okay? Focus on me. Take deep breaths with me, okay? Ready? In... And out.. C'mon, you have to stay calm, or we won't be able to help you" The prince who was the girl's lover noticed the noise coming from them and quickly ran to her.
